DR. ABDULLAH BAKHOUM
Dr. Abdullah Bakhoum is a renowned archaeologist specializing in Egyptology. He is known for his expertise and has made significant discoveries related to ancient Egyptian history and artifacts. His work primarily involves excavating ancient Egyptian sites, deciphering hieroglyphs, and researching historical aspects of ancient Egypt. He is dedicated to uncovering the secrets of Egypt's past and is particularly interested in finding the tomb of Nefertari, Egypt's famed Lost Queen.

Abdullah's journey into archaeology was ignited by a defining moment during his student years. While participating in an excavation, he ventured into a small burial chamber and experienced a profound connection to ancient Egypt. Within that tomb, he unearthed an artifact of immense significance that profoundly altered the course of his life, igniting an unyielding passion for archaeology within him. This pivotal encounter acted as the catalyst for his decision to dedicate his career to the study and exploration of ancient Egyptian history and culture. Abdullah's commitment to archaeology remains steadfast, evident in his unwavering dedication to uncovering historical mysteries and secrets, even when confronted with perilous situations.

Abdullah exudes confidence and a strong sense of self-assuredness. He believes he is the best archaeologist in the world and does not hesitate to assert his superiority over others. His arrogance is evident in his interactions, particularly when he asks to be addressed as "The Distinguished Dr. Bakhoum" and dismisses the abilities of his colleagues and peers. Abdullah maintains a belief in curses and ancient mysticism, even though he asserts that curses have no power over him.

Abdullah takes on the role of a mentor with Lily. He is tough on his mentees, believing that pushing them to their limits is the only way to determine if they are truly capable of succeeding in the field. His mentorship style may come across as harsh, but he believes it is necessary to prepare them for the challenges of archaeology.

It is revealed that Abdullah was responsible for striking Jon on the head, leading to Jon's hospitalization. Abdullah is involved in the antiquities black market and engaged in the dubious practice of staging archaeological finds. Together with Lily, he fabricated the curse at the dig site with the intention of inflating the worth of the unearthed artifacts. The authorities eventually showed up and apprehended Abdullah. He accepted complete responsibility for all the problems that transpired.
LILY CREWE
Lily Crewe is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in archaeology at Kingston University, with a specific focus on Egyptology. Lily specializes in the analysis of pottery, amulets, and relics dating back to the New Kingdom era of ancient Egypt.

Lily was chosen to join an archaeological expedition in Egypt, led by Abdullah. Their mission was to excavate and search for the tomb of Nefertari.

Professor Boyle was taken aback when Abdullah selected Lily to join the excavation team. This surprise stemmed from the fact that Lily had been accused of manipulating her research findings, though the most serious allegations against her remained unverified. Nevertheless, there was considerable evidence pointing towards her misconduct. The student who had accused Lily was ultimately found guilty of plagiarism, leading some faculty members to speculate that Lily might have been inadvertently implicated in his plan to divert attention away from himself. While he was dismissed from the program, Lily narrowly escaped permanent repercussions and continued her studies. Although her academic achievements were notable, her ethical conduct raised concerns.

Lily's behavior suggests a potential inclination towards dishonesty on multiple occasions. Despite claiming a fear of snakes, she stores a book about cobras and a business card for the Reptile Emporium in her trunk. Furthermore, she asserts that she struggles with identifying amulets, but in reality, she is quite skilled in this area. Lily openly admits to studying curses and frequently reads books about them, expressing a desire to understand and possibly mitigate their effects. However, her actions raise suspicions that she might be trying to create a fabricated curse at the dig site.

Although it is never explicitly confirmed, there is evidence to indicate that Lily was responsible for placing the cobra in Nancy's bed and causing the cave-in that injured Dylan.

In the end, Lily is saved from the tomb where she was trapped due to a cave-in. Fortunately, she emerges unscathed but is then apprehended by authorities. However, Abdullah steps forward and admits complete responsibility for all the mishaps during the excavation, essentially shouldering the blame for Lily's actions as well. Consequently, Lily is freed from custody. She embarks on a new journey, pursuing studies in paleontology.

Dylan explains that his reason for visiting the archaeological site is that he wants to be the first tour guide to offer tours if it becomes a popular destination. He also aspires to expand his tour guide business. Dylan appears genuinely interested in the history and archaeology of the places he explores. He demonstrates authentic enthusiasm for the historical aspects of the tomb and the exciting prospect of uncovering Nefertari's remains.

Dylan states that he has experienced a streak of bad luck throughout his life, and he doesn't worry too much about the possibility of being affected by a curse, as he believes that his circumstances couldn't really get any worse. Shortly thereafter, Dylan suffers an injury due to a collapse in the tomb, which necessitates hospitalization and the use of traction.

Dylan confesses to Nancy that his real reason for coming to the site was to establish a connection with Abdullah, who operates covertly within the antiquities black market, with the hope of acquiring illicit antiquities. Dylan believes that obtaining rare and valuable antiquities could enhance the appeal of his guided tours to tourists and significantly boost his business. His motivation stems from the competitive nature of the tour guide industry and the potential to increase his earnings by providing unique experiences to his clients. Although Dylan didn't go through with purchasing items on the black market, his actions signify a lack of concern for the preservation of historical and cultural treasures.

Ultimately, Dylan is on the verge of a full recovery and will soon resume guiding tours in ancient Egypt.
JAMILA EL DINE
Jamila El Dine is a direct descendant of Henuttawy, the daughter of Nefertari. She belongs to a secret society called the Daughters of Nefertari, which traces its lineage back to Nefertari's daughters. This ancient organization has a profound mission: to locate Nefertari and reunite her with Ramses II. The members of this organization only discover their crucial duty after their mothers pass away. At that point, they become actively involved in the quest to find Nefertari and fulfill this historical and familial obligation.

Jamila's mother tragically passed away when she was very young. Upon reaching adulthood, Jamila received a letter from her mother that had been penned before her birth, instructing her to begin the search for Nefertari.

Initially, Jamila appears to be fixated on aliens and the Annunaki, actively engaging in discussions about their existence and role in human history. However, this alien enthusiast persona is a practical disguise. It allows her to blend in and avoid arousing suspicion, especially from individuals like Abdullah, who might oppose her mission. Jamila openly acknowledges that she uses this alien enthusiast persona as a cover at the archaeological site. Her apparent fascination with aliens is not genuine; rather, it's a deliberate strategy to maintain a low profile and keep her true intentions concealed.

Jamila has a deep-seated aversion towards Abdullah, whom she accuses of participating in illegal antiquities trading and fabricating archaeological discoveries. This intense dislike fuels her motivation for being at the archaeological site, where she aims to safeguard Nefertari from individuals like Abdullah, who might exploit or harm the historical legacy she is dedicated to preserving. Jamila deliberately damaged the water supply in an effort to force Abdullah to vacate the site.

After the discovery of Nefertari's mummy, Jamila and Jon developed a strong working relationship. Jon made a commitment to restore Nefertari to her rightful place alongside Ramses II, and Jamila enthusiastically joined him in this endeavor. Throughout the project, Jamila showcased her impressive expertise as an Egyptologist. It's highly probable that their collaboration will persist into the future.

Jamila's Mother

Journal entries left behind by Jamila's late mother, known as "Beloved of Hathor," are scattered throughout the tomb. In these writings, Jamila's mother reflects on her decade-long quest to locate the Lost Queen, a quest fueled by her deep connection to her own mother's memory. Her determination to fulfill a promise made to her late mother drives her forward, even as she faces numerous challenges along the way.

On December 16, a pivotal moment unfolded when her expedition team stumbled upon a desert tomb. Tragedy struck as one member rushed into the tomb, meeting a fatal end. Violent sandstorms trapped the team inside, leading to the demise of more of their members.

By December 23, Jamila's mother believed they had found the Queen's tomb. She described its remarkable white walls adorned with depictions of gods. However, the situation continued to deteriorate as days passed. Two men may have fallen victim to cobras, leaving the team demoralized. Throughout this harrowing ordeal, her determination to press on only intensified. She was driven by a deep fear that if she failed, her daughter Jamila would be compelled to follow in her footsteps.

As time marched on, her condition worsened, and she began to experience delirium. Mysterious markings within the tomb puzzled her, and she witnessed her remaining team members succumb to illness one by one. In her journal's later entries, she shared her overwhelming despair and the fading embers of hope as she desperately searched for a hidden exit. Ultimately, she succumbed to fever and dehydration. In her final words, she warned any potential future readers that they too were trapped within the Queen's tomb, with no hope of escape.

Even in the most tense moments, Jon's sense of humor manages to shine through, offering much-needed levity in their quest for historical truth.

Jon made a commitment to restore Nefertari to her rightful place alongside Ramses II, and Jamila enthusiastically joined him in this endeavor.
