How to do it
Pretty much all you wanna do is take out the main crane items first. Than you wanna dismantle the sides of the ships from the hull to the materials you can collect. I personally would recommend removing the bow and stern (if they are there. If not skip this part) before you do it so its easier to crate up the materials and chuck em in the truck.
Steps
1. Locate where craneable times are, for example the supply crates, radiation boxes, etc. These will need to be removed first.

2: Once all items are removed go to the side of the ship and remove all floors and walls that touch the wall. so for example there would be a small gap all the way down, this can help remove the walls too.

3: Choose to either take out all the ship or remove sections at a time for example where the winch-able walls are. That means stop at the point you need to use your blow torch and remove the floors and walls and make your way to the other side.

4. Remove all the walls and floors at the bottom, this should collapse your entire area. If it doesnt start to remove the floors that are directly above.

5: If you have a low GPU like me I have a 680. I usually save right before I let it collapse as I usually crash.

6: Enjoy the easiness!

Matze, the winches are usually only used on the bigger ships when there are multiple hull sections stacked on top of each other. If you look at the side of the ship with the walkie-talkie out and see the side of the ship divided into multiple layers you can highlight, the winches will likely be required to remove the top layers from the ship before the crane can lift them.

i know now how to do it, there are winches at the side, i didn´t know that i have to use them, the game didn´t tell me.
I sold the Wicher and bought another ship, when i left the House, the tooltip showed up, i load the save, tried it and it worked.

Hey, what if i removed every part of the Ship, so that only the Hull is left, but with no possibility to use the crane on it? Every connection ist cut, every part is fully removed, nothing left, but i can´t remove the Hull. The Game shows that the connectors are cut, but the crane can´t reach this part and the crane is ready. where can i post a picture with that issue?

The "Crane" is used by equipping the Walkie-Talkie (the handheld radio) and pointing it at a piece of Heavy Cargo or the hull that has had any connectors cut/burned and has a clear path through the ship to the sky.

Finally, on some of the bigger ships, this strategy fails, as you will be able to fully dismantle the lower floors, only to have the upper floors just hovering in mid-air blocking the crane from picking up the hull underneath. This is usually caused by one or more panels farther up on the ship next to the hull somehow being classified as a support for the upper floors even after the upper hull has been removed. In those instances, either keep dismantling everything below or start cosplaying as Scrapyard Spider-Man with the Rope upgrades.
