when approach a one tile by it's own, prepare to double tap once the frog i of color lands
(example )

when Whitey lands... double tap blacky

when blacky lands... double tap Whitey !!

timing, pacing...

allow some room for taps, obviously when you go real fast, slow just a little bit down ( not a hard rule... )
specially for river levels, desert 1- only

if lag...

restart the game, will run smooth as silk by then... give it your hundredth try? Ha-ha a
