Balteus is a challenging boss if you're running your AC build that has weaknesses against Balteus. If you're having trouble with Balteus, try this! You can literally push only 3 buttons and simply win. Anyone can do it!

Keep pulling the trigger of your Pulse rifle while using your Assault Boost - Boost Kick combo. This will deplete Balteus's shield. Don't worry about damage; you're a tank. You won't die. I can guarantee that if you're just sitting and doing nothing in front of Balteus, you can withstand Balteus's DPS for over 1 minute.

I didn't even dodge the assault armor.

So, when you've depleted Balteus's shield for the first time, use Assault Armor and then perform a charged blade attack. Basically, you will deplete the shield, then stagger Balteus, and finally execute the Charged Blade attack. Repeat until you defeat it.

My showcase demonstrates that I didn't perform any dodging movements, but I absorbed all the damage and still emerged victorious.
