1. Click the game on steam in your library, select properties and then click "browse local files"
(This should bring up the folder where the games.exe is located. (it's called: DakkaGame.exe)

2. then right click the game's.exe to bring up a pop-up(or context) menu ((if your on win 11 first click "show more options" *then* do that)). once done. select ""properties"".

3. In the properties menu: select the "Compatibility" tab.

4. Now in the Compatibility tab, click on both the boxes that say: "Disable fullscreen Optimisations" and "run as administrator"

5. Now repeat what you just did. for the shipping.exe (also called: DakkaGame-Win64-Shipping.exe) ((*this* .exe is found in: yourdrive/thensteaminstallationhere/Dakka Squadron\DakkaGame\Binaries\Win64))

6. It should now be fixed. (As this is what fixed the problem for me)
