Ascot's Resting Station

Tucked near the outskirts of Ascot out into the open lands of America is a resting station, set up by an owner who immigrated from Vietnam and ran by his son. It's a rather popular place for travelers, famous even for being used as a common filming location for many crime movies. It's also popular for being the only station here that is plenty big with other shops nearby.

Before this station was one situated right across the street. Used to be pretty popular during the 70s to 90s until it caught fire. No one, not even authorities knew if it was just an accident or was intentionally caused.

The area is currently closed as the business is undergoing a slight restructuring. A small COVID outbreak in the city also halted incoming stock, should be a while until this place gets back on its feet again. It definitely is a nostalgic place looking at it from the bus stop since it's where you met a lot of your friends. The purple sky just made it even more nostalgic.

I was on a little trip to Đồ Sơn in Hải Phòng with my cousins when we passed one of those resting stations near highways. I always loved them for some reason, being in a little public area with other people and even foreigners and just having small chats over milk tea, talking about where they are going and what they'll do. I was on a little hiatus during that time to have fun but after I got home, I just HAD to create a resting station in Garry's Mod. The urge was too much. Help.

Also summer has ended. Yay.

This map includes a nav mesh, ai nodes and all custom content has been packed using VIDE. Because once again, buying a game to display textures is utterly stupid I cannot stress this enough. WHY.
