Trial of David

David has the power to siphon the energy of his most powerful foes, so when he beats the floor's boss he gains a 7% stat bonus to all offensive stats. However, getting hit causes him to lose some energy, losing 2% to offensive stats.
David starts with Slingshot, a 2 room active item which upon use throws a magic rock that bounces between enemies and inflicts weakness. Bosses take a percentage of their max health as damage instead.
He also starts with Promised Crown, which generates a couple minisaacs whenever he kills a champion.

David lost control of his power and now loses 7% of offensive stats every time he goes down a floor. However he can still siphon energy from his enemies. Killing a boss grants a 4% stats bonus and killing a champion grants a 1% bonus. However, he can only siphon from a champion once every other room.
Tainted David starts with a gulped Purple Heart and he also brought Jonathan with him, his trusted plushie. Jonathan can only be used once per floor, and upon use it reveals the boss room, or grants +3 luck if he's already there.
