This is the Official Steam page for Project New Vegas, which is an ambitious Fallout total conversion mod for Dayz! For any feedback / suggestions, Please reach out to us in our English Discord [discord.gg] or for our Russian speaking community Russian Discord [discord.gg] (вторая ссылка для русских).

Being a total conversion mod, this mod includes everything from weapons to clothing and armour, hostile creatures and vehicles, many types of consumables and a few unique gameplay features which are often seen in the very popular Fallout titles!

Project New Vegas is a MOSTLY STANDALONE mod, it is to be used ONLY alongside the list of required and recommended mods that can be found further down in the description of the mod. We are NOT responsible and will NOT help fix any issues caused by using our mod alongside unsupported mods outside of the list provided!

For the duration of the development, this project is to be considered a private mod, as often times our updates change many features and add many new things that could break the servers of those who are not familiar with how our mod works, and we cannot expend the necessary time and resources to help fix these issues. We promised that this mod will become publicly available for everyone to use, and we stand by this promise, this is just a temporary measure to give us peace of mind and allow us to continue to develop the mod for you all to enjoy once it's ready.

Required Mods:
Community Framework - Required framework.
RFFS - Core - Required framework.

Recommended Mods:
DayZ Editor Loader - Allows server owners to easily load edits.
BuilderLoader - Alternative to the Loader mod, allows for easy loading from init.c without modifying mission files.


‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒ New Features ‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒
  • Unique gameplay features such as the S.P.E.C.I.A.L XP System, Power Armor, Lockpicking System, Computer Terminals, Radiation and Playable Ghouls which can be experienced while exploring the wasteland, these systems can also be found in Fallout games!

  • 5 New Vehicles (air and ground) which come in many different colours, some of them also come with cosmetic and inventory extending attachments which also double as storage to be used in bases.

  • Currently 4 new types of Creatures from the Fallout Universe! These creatures come in various shapes and sizes, are both passive and hostile respectively, and some can even be turned into companions which will follow you around and will expand your inventory storage limit!

  • 67 New Weapons (22 Melee weapons and 45 Ranged weapons) and 11 new Ammunition types (there are also many new models for vanilla ammunition boxes from the Fallout universe)!

  • 34 New sets of Clothing and Armour, along with various different sub variants for a MANY of those sets. This also currently includes 4 types of power armour which could be found while exploring the map!

  • 16 Medical items for various uses, along with a doctors bag which will allow you to carry those items around in a more compact way!

  • 70 Types of Foods and Beverages complete with a lunchbox which will allow you to carry these items in a more compact fashion!

  • Many more Misc Items and minor features to allow for an immersive feel between Fallout and Dayz!

  • All of the weapons from the Fallout 3 and New Vegas games.

  • Expanding the amount of available vehicles, to include tracked and aerial vehicles.

  • Adding in more clothing and armour sets that will have different effects on the player while worn

  • Introducing more creatures from the Fallout universe to include all of the passive and hostile creatures from Fallout 3 and New Vegas.

  • Adding in a lot more misc and consumable items to allow people to craft various things with while also facilitating trade between players.

@Morii<3 Hey there, we intend to release the mod for everyone for free when development of the mod will be done. Until then the mod just won't be ready to be used by anyone, due to the fact that there will be a lot of bugs and incomplete features.

If you'd like to help us speed up the development of the mod then feel free to donate to us, however we won't set up any private versions of the mod for anyone excluding ourselves for testing and playtesting, until the mod is released.

@Player#07 Not yet unfortunately, as the mod is still under heavy development. We did have a playtest recently which was meant to help us find and fix bugs but also allowed players to experience all of our content, but that has already concluded. Feel free to join our discord in order to follow up on our next playtest and check out our other news!

Like I said, when you launch a Dayz via the offline method you're not actually launching it as a server, but more so as if you're playing a campaign like you do in other games. Google how to launch Dayz in offline mode and you'll be able to test out the mod without issues.

@Mr. Nasty You can test it out locally if you launch the mod privately through Dayz Offline, but when it comes to launching a public/private server we don't currently support that method
