This resource tries to make it easier to visualize how a car is likely to perform and hopefully makes the game less confusing. Engine swaps are based off NFS Wiki, the rest was compiled from game data files via Frosty, or ingame testing.

First, there's an overview of Power to Weight. Cars on the upper left will be easier to win with, especially if they have bonus Downforce like the Regera, FXX-K, 488 Pista and Vulcan. There's also an outlier Golf '76 with extreme acceleration, though its gearbox limits its max speed. Cars in the lower left, or light cars with weaker engines, tend to perform okay too.

To dive into specific cars and engines, there's the engine swap and car compatibility pages. Select one from the dropdown and see what it works with. The median HP / kg is 0.67. Aiming for 0.75 and above should make for an easier time.

Finally, there's lists for both cars and engines with more detailed stats on each.
