How to start the game on a modern PC

after faffing around for 30 minutes i finally managed to make this run on a new windows 11 install

right click the game got to properties
in the launch options area enter the following

"E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Reveal The Deep\Linux\rtd.jar" %command%

you will need the quote marks, and will need to adjust the filepath to match whatever your steam install is, but it works for me.

Hi mate. Thanks for the guide.
Another way that worked for me was opening it straight from its folder. I'll put it here too in case it helps anyone in the future.

1: Right click on the game title in your library > Properties > Installed Files > Browse.
2: On the "Reveal the Deep" folder, open the folder Linux and double click on the file named "rtd". The game will start.
(note: there is an rtd file outside of the folder as well, but only the one on the inside will open the game)
