You win this game by getting 270 electoral votes. Here are some tips to help you do that:
1. It is very rarely a good idea to go more than 3 pips/rungs in a state, unless your opponent is in there.
2. It is very rarely a good idea to go into national groups unless your candidate has a 30%+ bonus. The only exception would be to prevent someone with a very large national group bonus from getting it.
3. Don't defend a state unless there's a good reason to, ex if you lose it you lose a few bonuses.
4. Spread out, spreading out makes it so it's harder to lose a bonus, as you have more states with that bonus.
5. Sometimes, it's better to save money than spending it all in one turn.
6. Do math, if someone has 500k, but they have swing states and african American at a 10% bonus each, they'd have 280k of pure cash( 500k -110k -110k =280k). This will be really helpful when defending bigger states like Cali and Tx.
