Today's Thronefall gameplay video features the second zone of the game, Nordfels, following the tutorial zone. Thronefall is a minimalist medieval strategy game that just released on Steam Early Access. Control the king, protect your kingdom and use its growing wealth to help your castle survive nightly enemy attacks.

I'm hooked on Thronefall. The gameplay is so straightforward without being dull, and there's plenty to unlock to use to modify the game. While the developers fairly warn that Thronefall doesn't have much content yet, the variety of options to customize your gameplay more than makes up for the handful of levels currently available.

As far as medieval strategy games go, I usually check out once the tutorial goes on for too long. But Thronefall keeps things simple and focused and I feel like that will help the game grow, as it's super accessible.
