Introduction
FLOCK! is one of the older games that is bundle with a copy-protection software known as SecuROM. As a result, the game needs a few extra steps before you can play it. A lot of people are asking for help, so hopefully this guide covers it. If you don't want to hear the technical explanation below, just skip to the third section.
What is SecuROM and How it Concerns FLOCK!
SecuROM was one of the more popular DRM (copy protection and anti-piracy) measures in the late 2000's for CD/DVD based games. It's notable for being one of the most hated DRM measures for the time because of the numerous problems that impacted customers. Limited installs, sometimes doesn't detect the disc as legit (yes, this DRM is on psychical discs) and requires a key just to activate the product each time you install it on your system. You thought Denuvo was bad? SecuROM make that DRM look welcoming in return.

FLOCK! has an interesting case of this. Despite the game not being patched to remove the DRM, the limit was raised to be installed as many times as the user likes, but it still requires a key just to activate the game. Thankfully, there's a way to get it.
How to get the Key to Activate FLOCK!
Once you installed FLOCK!, right click on the game via the search bar and go to "Manage", you'll then see "CD Keys". Click on that.

Now, you'll see your unique key. Clicking on that will copy it to your clipboard.

Open the game and you should see an installer asking for the key. Click on "Next".

Paste the key we just got in the "SERIAL" bar and click on "Activate".

If it works, you should see this screen telling you that the product activation is successful.

Now go and free those flocks!
