In the July 27 2023 update this particular strat was patched out with the slot machines now requiring more resources to craft, diminishing returns on luck and higher cost per roll. (Side note: the devs gunned for this strategy in the patch as they said "good luck [gambling] farming" with gambling crossed out. Devs if you're reading this, BUFF side incomes, nerf less.)

Start with carrots until you have clovers unlocked then run nothing but clovers. I didn't have to sell a SINGLE clover but could probably make use of farm markets if necessary. An early shrine is ALMOST required, though I have done multiple payments before the first shrine roll (don't buy/craft them EARLY game, best scaling seems to be rolling shrines and building slots). An early barn makes ALL the difference. Can easily make use of 7 shrines with one enclosed pump for full stamina-to-luck conversion. There is an achievement for completing EPIC difficulty w/o using corn! Good Luck!!!

(I did accidentally buy a mountain in the mid-to-late game so I added a little worker because I had never even used one before..... aaaaannnd they're not worth it...)
