This guide follows the game progression. So when you're still at Youkai Trail, I will only use recipes, beverages or ingredients that are available on that current progression.

Maybe you can also think of it as a Beginner's Guide...

The guide i'm making is for level 3 Izakaya (tell me if you want the ones for level 1&2. As they have different customers and kitchenware limit!)

This guide is mainly to fit the preferred Food and Beverages of each Izakaya. Aswell for maximum satisfaction.

Prioritize the ingredients and cuisine for easier access!

Don't forget to save the presets!

Your notebook is your best friend here

• I REALLY recommend not adding any menu that has the Meat tag (including the X)
  
• Prioritize Pork & Trout Kebab, Fried Lampreys, and Pork Bowl
  
• Grill, Frying Pan, Boiling Pot, and Cutting Board should be your main kitchenware here!
  (Cutting Board and Boiling Pot if you want to do the alternative)
  
• Fried Lampreys is from Rumia bond level 3
  
• Pork & Trout Kebab is from Chen bond level 3
  
• Pork Bowl is when you reach level 8
  
• During this progression you are only able to upgrade your Izakaya to level 2

For the menu, add any recipe that you have (don't use the ones that have meat)

You can use my menu here!

• The only regular customer you should pay attention are the Rabbits. For their food just add Honey.
  
• And for everybody else, add meat to their food (this is why i don't recommend adding a menu that has meat)

Now for the Rare Customers.

• Chen

-Pork & Trout Kebab (Fulfills every tags excluding Greasy) add honey if she wants Sweet.
-Fried Lampreys (Greasy, Aquatic). add any Meat or Honey

• Rumia

-Pork Bowl (Filling, Meat) add Egg if she wants Raw, Cicada Slough if she wants Strange.
-Fried Lampreys (Signature) add any Meat and Egg/Cicada Slough.

• Wriggle

-Pork Bowl (Meat) add Egg and Honey if she wants Sweet. Cicada Slough if Strange.

Alternatively, you can satisfy them with Rice Ball and added ingredients. More work but might be fun!

Chen
Rice Ball + Meat + Honey + any Fish
Rumia
Rice Ball + Meat + Cicada Slough + Egg + Lamprey
Wriggle
Rice Ball + Meat + Cicada Slough + Honey + Egg

• This is where it gets tricky! It's fine if you don't add any extra ingredients for regular customers.
  
• Always check the Tags if the food already have it or not
  
• I recommend getting Miso Tofu (Hieda) and Scholar's Ginkgo/Shirayuki (Keine) ASAP
  
• Boiling Pot, Cutting Board and Steamer should be your main kitchenware here
  
• Miso Tofu and Vegetable Salad are from Hieda no Akyuu bond level 2&3
  
• Scholar's Ginkgo and Shirayuki are from Keine bond level 3&4

Paying attention to all regular customers can be tiring, however if you're not feeling lazy here's the list for their highest rating!

• Human Child (As long as they don't order Scholar's Ginkgo, add Honey. Otherwise
  Meat/Pumpkin/Potato)
  
• Human Male (Usually add Radish. Otherwise Meat or Onion/Seaweed)
  
• Human Female (Most of the time add Onion/Seaweed, otherwise any Fish)
  
• Human Elder (add Ginkgo Nut if food has no Photogenic)
  
• Saemon (add Egg/Cicada Slough)

For Rare Customers you can use Shirayuki for more profit

• Hieda

-Miso Tofu if she ask for Soup/Japanese, add Dew (Mild) or Honey (Sweet)
-Scholar's Ginkgo if not Japanese, add Dew (Mild)
-Shirayuki if Japanese Alternative, add Dew (Mild) or Honey (Sweet)

• Keine

-Scholar's Ginkgo if Chinese, add Dew (Mild) or Potato (Homecooking)
-Shirayuki if Japanese, add Dew (Mild) or Potato (Homecooking/Vegetarian)
-Miso Tofu If no Chinese/Cultural Background, no addition (Cheaper ingredients alternative)

• Kasen

-Miso Tofu if Japanese, add Radish (Good with Alcohol)
-Scholar's Ginkgo if no Japanese add Radish (Good with Alcohol) or Potato (Homecooking)
-Shirayuki if Japanese Alternative add Radish (Good with Alcohol) or Potato (Homecooking)

• Rinnosuke, our first Special Guest!

-Tonkotsu Ramen/Beef(Pork) Bowl/Rice Ball, add Onion/Seaweed for the Savory

• This is where it starts to get more expensive. Rare Customers are more picky on this stage!
  
• If you don't have the ingredients, it's fine to not fulfill their tags and just go with the cheaper alternative
  
• One Rare Customer is rather very hard to satisfy here...
  
• Maybe use Sparrow Kitchenware?
  
• Cutting Board, Boiling Pot and Steamer should be your main kitchenware here
  
• You might have to change menu for the Rare Customers a lot here as some menu ingredients are rather expensive during this stage.
  
• I recommend prioritizing Power Soup, Peach Tapioca and Peach & Shrimp Salad
  
• Imitation Bear Paw is from Rumia bond level 4
  
• Power Soup is from Chen bond level 4
  
• Carved Rose Salad, Peach Tapioca and Peach & Shrimp Salad are from Tenshi bond level 2-4

• Human Elder (add Ginkgo Nut if food has no Photogenic)

The Rare Customers are rather very picky here...

• Reimu

-Pork Rice Ball/Rice Ball checks for Filling and Cheap, add Honey (Sweet)
-Peach & Shrimp Salad checks Sweet and Wonderful, add Pumpkin (Filling)
-Imitation Bear Paw checks Wonderful and Premium, add Pumpkin (Filling) and Honey (Sweet). The Expensive tag subtracts one point. If you only add one extra ingredient she will only give orange rating.

• Suika

-Imitation Bear Paw checks Strength-Boosting and Meat, add Radish (Good with Alcohol)
-Shirayuki checks Meat and Japanese, add Radish (Good with Alcohol)
-Falling Blossoms (Premium Tuna, Cutting Board) checks Small Portion and Japanese, add Meat

Cheaper Ingredients Alternatives

-Power Soup checks Strength-Boosting and Meat, add Radish (Good with Alcohol)
-Miso Tofu checks Japanese, add Radish (Good with Alcohol) and Meat
-Fresh Tofu checks Good with Alcohol and Small Portion (Cheaper Alternative), add Meat

• Tenshi, just hope she doesn't ask for Expensive and Legendary as you can't really get her best rating during this stage (only with Udumbara Cake or Sparrow Kitchenware)

-Carved Rose Salad checks Mild, Vegetarian and Photogenic(add Peach if she wants Fruity, Honey if Sweet)
-Scholar's Ginkgo checks Sweet and Vegetarian (add Peach if she wants Fruity, Dew if Mild)
-Shirayuki or Imitation Bear Paw if she ask for Expensive, add Dew and Honey (This only give orange rating)

Expensive Ingredients Alternatives

-Peach Tapioca checks Fruity, Photogenic, Sweet and Vegetarian (add Dew if Mild is needed)
-Peach & Shrimp Salad checks Fruity, Photogenic, Sweet, Vegetarian and Mild
-Udumbara Cake fulfills everything except for Fruity and Vegetarian (add Peach for Fruity or Seaweed for Vegetarian)

• It's starting to get easier to satisfy your customers here with your gained knowledge of recipes!
  
• Same like Hakurei Shrine, one of the Rare Customer is hard to satisfy...
  
• Sparrow Kitchenware can be useful here too!
  
• Cutting Board, Boiling Pot, Frying Pan and Steamer should be your main kitchenware here
  
• Prioritize what recipes you have the most ingredients for!
  
• Salmon Steak is unlocked at level 21
  
• Pancakes with Syrup is unlocked at level 27
  
• Tangyuan/Dumplings are bought from Rinnosuke
  
• Golden Ribs Soup and Rainbow Pan-fried Pork Buns are from Meiling bond level 3&5
  
• Daimyo's Feast is from Reimu bond level 4

Trying to get the highest ratings from the Regular Customers here can get very tricky, Remember that saving ingredients are important!
