Will it be better? Depends. You could as well use it with the guide and "fall behind" for 1 or 2 levels. The question is, when going for bow as main weapon, how good will it really serve you? It's high dexterity requirement means you won't be able to equip it for a longer time compared to the Master Sword. Will you still be using melee combat often when you are that far skilled with bow by then? Most likely not. Not to mention that you will still have no Strength skilled either, so 10 more or less weapon damage is the least of your concerns aswell.
It is better if you are doing a sort of mixed playstyle with a Strength/Dex combination. I've never tried such a run by myself though, so I can't really judge on how good it would compete with the Master Sword. The Str/Dex build with Betty is pretty popular though, I might try it someday too.
In this case I give it to Saturas for 2000 xp.
You could use in this stage just as well, but remember that you won't have the 30% skill threshold for faster attacks and combos. The damage overall is also lower than the Master Sword's, as you don't have strength skilled at all. Additionally, you would only use melee combat for a few more levels after obtaining it before solely relying on ranged.
Overall I don't recommend to use it.
