  • Opened steam
  • Win key + r
  • enter in: steam://open/console
  • Went to steam console, typed in: download_Depot 242050 242051 7598860626606919774
  • Depot downloaded to steam -> steamapps -> content -> app_242050 -> depot_242051
  • Copied "AC4BFSP.exe" from depot_242051 into the actual game install directory

Don't need to stand the 19 gb. Just wait it DL AC4BFSP.exe, and paste it as i said. Then, delete the depot_242051

P.S. no need to delete files! I deleted the game, so there are no files in the game folder!

So, bit of an odd issue. It seems this .exe messes with some of the lighting settings in game. For example, Edward Kenway's hair is no longer shiny. Certain textures look bland after replacing the .exe. Any knowledge on how to fix this?

ok this WON'T work with either ASI-Loader or AC4Tweaker. after deleting or renaming dinput8.dll it worked.

This is not working for me, i did what you did in this fix, but nothing happened, i still have this issue where i cant access kenways fleet :(
