Like I wrote in the Information about this guide in short, I want to give you an overview about all the archive notes and their spawn points. I tried to reload the map around 10-15 times before I stopped trying to get more spots.

Each note has a different amount of spawn points. The max. amount is around 7 possible spawn points. In case you're noticing that I am missing something, feel free to write it below in the comments or in my profile. I can hop in the map then again and look if I can find it and add it in the guide. Would be really helpful!

I'll put the note names (I named them and hope they make sense lol) in chapters. Like that it's easier for you to look at the one, that you're missing. At the first note, I'll also put the maps name, so that you guys know, when we're switching locations.

All the spawn spots for Liz' photo-note are upstairs in the house.



1. In the bedroom at the end of the corridor: It will lay on a dresser.



2. In the nursery: It's in the closet, which is located next to the door. In the closet, it's laying on the ground.



3. In the upstairs living room: It will lay on the shelf, which is close to the kitchen. Next to the & statue, you'll find it.

All the spawn points for this note are in the basement on this map.


1. When you walk down the stairs, turn right. Walk towards the wall at the end of the room then (the one you're facing) so that you're at the opposite side of the basement. On your left side (while facing the wall) it will lay on the ground close to the ladder and the workbench.


2. It is laying on the ground, between the sump pump and the boxes.


3. On the barrel on your left side, after you came down the stairs.


4. In the small room in the basement (which is closed by a door first) it is laying on the workbench surrounded by tools.


5. Next to the paintings, which are standing next to the stairs in the basement, in front of the sump pump.

PVT Connors Newspaper has all its spot in the garage.


1. In the room with the green car: It is laying next to the shelf on the ground.



2. In the room with the green car: On the shelf next to the canister on the red box.




3. In the room with the green car: Between the wheelbarrow and the lawn mower on the ground.



4. In the corridor (which is between the two car rooms), it is laying in the open drawer from the tool cabinet.

1. In the kitchen: It is laying next to the fridge, on the ground.



2. In the kitchen: The 2nd possible spot for the kitchen is next to the chair, on the ground, close by the air-vent.


3. In the basement: On your right side, after going down the stairs, it's in the area on the ground where lots of papers are laying on the ground. You'll find it between them, in front of the shelves.


4. In the basement: After you went down the stairs, it will be laying on your left, in front of the gramophone on the floor.

1. In the master bedroom: It's located in the left closet (when you're standing in front of them), between the shoes.


2. In the master bedroom: In front of the bed, on the right side of it.


3. In the living room: Laying in front of the piano on the floor

1. In the basement: It is laying on the workbench, next to a book.


2. In the basement: Between the washing machine and the dryer, you'll find it laying on the ground.


3. In the middle bedroom: You'll find the note next to the bed with the stripes on it, close to the backpack.


4. In the boy's bedroom, close by the bathroom: It's laying in front of the dresser (which has the TV Screen and the console with the controller on it).

All of its locations are in the church.


1. At the entrance on your right side. It'll be laying on the ground, next to a bookshelf.


2. Next to the stairs in the church


3. At the entrance, on the table. It is laying in front of a cross.

1. Next to the stairs in the church.


2. It is laying below the table, at the entrance.


3. In front of the church, close to the pulpit and the piano, it is laying below a seat.


4. At the entrance: Enter the church and turn right then. Walk towards the wall. It is laying next to a bookshelf in a corner.

1. Position yourself at the Segerstein-House entrance, facing towards the street. Move 3 lines of graves. Then you'll notice a bigger tombstone on your right side. Walk into that line, until you're almost at the end of it. You'll notice a tombstone with some kind of slab around it. There is one possible spawn spot for the note, directly at the end of the slab.


2. At the fence, close to the entrance, which is facing the Segerstein house. It will be behind the sign (Area closed from sunset to sunrise). You should face the fence from the inside of the graveyard. From the outside, it is hard to see the note on the fence.


3. Position yourself at the entrance of the graveyard (2nd one, facing the segerstein house). Walk 5 lines of graves, then into the 5th line (on the left side) and you'll notice a small spruce tree next to a tombstone. It should be laying next to the small spruce tree, on the ground.


4. Close to the 2nd entrance of the graveyard (again facing the segerstein house), you'll notice a knocked over tombstone. Directly on this tombstone is another possible spot.

All the possible spawn locations are in the Segerstein-House.



1. Hanging on a wall, next to the bed (on the right side).



2. Next to the entrance, on your left side around the corner. It is hanging on the wall, next to the lightswitch


3. Also here, next to the lightswitch, hanging on a wall in the kitchen.


4. Enter the house, on your left side, it will be hanging on a wall, above a plug.



5. Enter the house (again :D), on your left side, it will be hanging between 2 windows.

1. Outside the mausoleum (facing the road towards the crypt, not the segerstein house), next to the graves on a path, it is laying on the ground.


2. At the entrance of the mausoleum, it will be laying on the stairs on the first step (on the right side). You need to walk a bit around in the mausoleum and outside between the graves to make it appear sometimes.


3. On the marble tomb, directly at the entrance of the mausoleum.


4. At one of the slabs, on the right side of the mausoleum (while facing the tombs). It is the 2nd last slab.


5. Outside of the mausoleum, if you're coming from the street and look at the mausoleum, turn left and walk towards the graves. The note is in the left corner of the small graveyard, next to the grave on the ground

1. Close to the southwest entrance (opposite side of the forest), it is laying on the steps from a giant obelisk Mary statue.


2. Enter the crypt at the entrance coming from the mausoleum. Turn left, follow the graves, and you'll find the note on a tomb.


3. Enter the crypt at the entrance coming from the mausoleum. Turn right and follow the graves, until you're almost at the end, close to the stone wall. You'll notice a big structure on your left side, where the note will be laying between 2 plant-pots.


4. Position yourself at the fountain area, at the entrance coming from the forest-side. Follow that line of graves, until you're finding it laying on a flat grave next to the Mary obelisk.


5.Head towards the fountain area, position yourself at the entrance coming from the street (Red Eyes' side) and you'll see it laying on one of the benches in the fountain area.

1. On a tree, at the 2nd entrance from the forest. You need to follow the road, coming from the angel statue, until you can see a lantern and a breaker close to it. Turn left then and follow the small pathway up the hill, towards the forest.


2. On a tree, at the 1st entrance from the forest, coming from the angel statue. Follow the road again, until you can see a small pathway on your left side between the graves. It will be on your left side on the tree.


3. At a tree, close to the entrance from the forest, when you're coming from the Segerstein house.


4. Follow either the path into the forest, coming from the Segerstein house or up the hill, at the street with many gravestones on it. You'll find a tree with the note on it a bit into the forest.

Since all the spots are located in the forest, I'll write the best routes I can do to find them.


1. Come from the Segerstein-house, move to the forest, follow the path into the forest and stay on the left side. You'll notice lots of fallen trees. Follow the path until you're at an open area. On your right side, you'll notice a tree with a smaller fallen one next to it. Follow the path a bit more until you're at the 2nd bigger standing tree. Also, there will be a fallen one next to it. Between the standing and the fallen tree, you'll find the first spot.




2. Position yourself at the bone arrow in the forest, which is leading you to the summoning spot. Turn left, and you'll notice a path (in front of you). Follow it, and you'll see a fallen log on the right side. Next to a standing tree, should be a fallen one, and between the fallen log and the standing tree it should be laying there.


3. At the summoning spot in the forest, next to a stump.


4. Coming from the bone arrow again, turn around until you face a tree. Choose the path on your right side and walk directly forward until you reach an uprooted tree. Close to that one you'll find the note.


5. Follow the 1st entrance way, coming from the street. Take the right path, then (when you see a fallen log), turn right, and you'll find it on your right side, laying on the ground, in front of the big tree.


6. Follow the 1st entrance-way, coming from the street, enter the woods, turn right, as soon as you're noticing a log on the ground. You'll see a huge tree on your right side. Move a bit around it to find the note. It is laying on the opposite side of the tree.


7. In the summoning area, next to a stump on the left side.

1. Downstairs, the basement: It is laying in the small room, on the ground


2. In the outdoor garage: Laying in front of the trash bags. (It is a bit tricky to see, since it is a bit sunken into the ground – remember : Will be/could be fixed soon!)



3. In the bedroom in the back (close to the bathroom): In the closet, laying on the clothes, close to the ground.


4. In the bedroom in the back: Below the bed


5. Outdoor Garage: Below the pile of leaves. It will be in front of the plant pots, next to a pillar and the lawn mower. (Also here, tricky to spot since you need to be close to see it. Remember: Will be/could be fixed!)

1. In the 1st bedroom, on the right side. It is laying on the dresser in front of the screen.


2. In the living room: It is laying on the table (left side).


3. In the living room: On the side table, between the lamp and the picture frame.


4. In the living room: It is laying on the table (right side).

1. In the 1st bedroom: It will be laying next to the rosary, in front of the screen.


2. In the living room: It is laying on the table (in the middle)


3. In the last bedroom (next to the bathroom): It is laying on the floor at the end of the bed, in front of the wardrobe.


4. In the living room: It is laying on the table, below the screen (which is hanging on the wall). In front of all the electronic devices (DVD Player, Speakers..)


5. In the last bedroom (next to the bathroom): In the corner, between the wardrobe and the closet.

1. Downstairs, in the basement: In the small room, close to the „entrance“ door.


2. In the outdoor garage: On the left side, in front of the trash bags, close to the entrance.


3. Outdoor garage: It is laying in front of the couch


4. In the outdoor garage: In front of the trash bags, close to the pillar

All the spawn spots are located in the basement:


1. Inside the small closet, which is in the small room behind a door.


2. In the small room: Laying on the ground.


3. In the small room: Laying in the corner

1. Downstairs, in the basement. It is below the stairs, next to a wooden pillar.


2. In the small room in the basement, laying on the ground.


3. In the small room in the basement, laying in the corner.


4. In the closet in the small room, laying on the ground

All possible spawn spots I've found are in the barn.


1. Enter the barn, turn left then. Follow the wall, behind the animals, until you're reaching the end of the wall. Behind the goats, it should be laying in the corner.


2. Position yourself behind the pig. Face the wall then. A bit next to the 2nd door on this side of the barn, you should find it laying on the ground (between both doors). It could be that it is laying a bit different for you. But it should not be that much of a difference.


3. Close to the door, which is next to the hay bale pile (opposite side of the pig), it should be laying on the right side, at the wall (while facing the barn door).


4. In the corner of the barn, behind/next to the sheep.


5. Close to the door at the end of the barn, close to the hay bale pile. It's laying next to a barrel, in front of the rake.


6. At the entrance on your right side, in front of the rake and the pitchfork.


7. Close to the entrance, next to a metal tub.

All the possible spawn points, are in the barn on the walls.


1. After entering the barn, turn left, get to the wall. Follow the wall, until you're seeing it hanging on the wall, next to the 2nd door.


2. After entering the barn, turn left, walk between the sheep and the pig and walk towards the wall. It should be next to the 1st door on this side.


3. In the part of the barn, which is next to the hay bale pile, it should be hanging on the wall, next to the barn door.


4. Next to the entrance, on your right side.


5. At the other side of the barn, hanging on a wall next to the huge barn door, on the opposite side.


6. Close to the entrance door, on your right side, after entering the 2nd close part of the barn, next to the door.

All possible spawn locations are in the parlor in the Hurley house.


1. On the left side of the dinning table, next to the chair on the ground.


2. Next to the chimney, in front of a bookshelf.


3. Next to the barrier, close to the armchair with the chessboard (on the right side, while standing in front of it)


4. Walk all the way around the dinning table. It is laying behind it, close to the corridor.


5. Next to the dinning table, below the light switch.

All the spawn spots are in the Hurley house.


1. Turn left and enter the parlor after entering the house. It is laying in front of a bookshelf and close to the chimney.


2. In her bedroom: At the end of the bed, it is laying next to the baroque stool, on the ground.


3. In the kid's bedroom upstairs: After you've walked up the stairs, turn left. It's in the first bedroom on that side (with the green wallpaper), laying in front of the bed on the left side.


4. In the kid's bedroom upstairs: Walk up the stairs, turn left and enter the 1st bedroom on that side. It should have green wallpaper. Between the bed is the possible spawn point for that note.


5. After entering the house, turn right and walk into the room. In front of the chimney on the small table it should be laying, next to a statue.

All the locations for this one are in her bedroom, which is after you've come up the stairs, in your back on the right side.


1. It is laying on the dressing table


2. At the end of her bed, it can be laying on the baroque stool.


3. It should be laying next to her bed, on the left side table, in front of the lamp.


4. One possible spot is next to her bed, on the right side table, also in front of the lamp.

All the possible spawn spots are either in the keeper's quaters or close to it.


1. In the keeper's quarters: Next to the barrier at the end of the room. It should be close to the door, which is leading to the lighthouse, on the right side (while facing the door), below the window.


2. In the corridor, which is connecting the lighthouse and the keeper's quarters: It should lay on your left side, on the ground, after leaving the keeper's quaters.


3. In the keeper's quarters: Next to the barrier, after you've come in the keeper's quarters, on your right side. It should lay below a window, close to kettles and pots.


4. In the keeper's quarters: It lays upstairs, close to the beds, next to the railing of the stairs.

All the spots for Eli's note are in the lighthouse.


1. 3rd highest level of the lighthouse: Laying below the window


2. Laying in the breaker closet, below the breaker, on the ground.


3. 1st floor: Laying on the first floor at the wall, after going up the stairs


4. 2nd floor: Laying at the wall

All the possible spots for George's porter tag are either in the keeper's quarters or the lighthouse.


1. Keeper's quarters: Laying in front of the stairs


2. In the lighthouse: Laying in front of the breaker in the lighthouse


3. Lighthouse: Laying on the first floor in the lighthouse, close to the stairs, which will lead you to the 2nd floor.


4. Lighthouse: On the first floor, laying at the end of the stairs, you just came up.


5. In the corridor, which is connecting the keeper's quarters and the lighthouse: Laying in the middle of the floor.

All of the spawn points for this photo are around the cabins in the woods. You can reach them by walking forwards, coming from the van. This is also our point of view for these spots.


1. Laying in the cabin, which is the most right, surrounded by a fence, laying on the ground, surrounded by newspapers.


2. Laying in the cabin, which is the most left, on the ground, while being surrounded by newspapers.


3. In the smallest cabin (in the middle of them): On the left side after entering, close to the knocked over chair. Also, surrounded by newspaper.


4. In the cabin with the porch: Close to the wall, next to papers on the ground, close to the pot.


5. In the cabin with the porch: After entering, turn right. It's laying on the ground, close to a picture frame and an axe, surrounded by papers.


6. In the cabin, which is most left, laying on the ground, close to the wall, while being surrounded by newspaper.

1. When you're coming from the barn and head towards the cave, you'll notice a tree next to the way where you'll walk down. Next to the tree, close to the cliff is where I found the first note.




2. Between 2 trees behind the barn, laying on the ground (close to the dandelion)


3. Close to a small spruce tree, which is on your way, while you're heading down to the cave (should be the 1st one you're walking towards)


4. Behind the barn: You'll notice 2 trees in front of you, after you've left the barn on the opposite side. It's laying on the ground, behind the right tree.


5. Next to the way, which will leads you down to the cave. It is laying on a stone on your left side (I can't tell how long it took me to find that, lol)


6. When you're walking down, towards the cave, it'll lay on the ground. Close to it, you'll find moss, it'll lay on your right side, close to the rocky wall. (Took me 71mins to find that one. Look very closely!)

1. In the back of the cave. Follow the stone wall on the right side (when you're standing in the entrance). It will be laying on the ground.


2. On the left path in the cave (left side when you're standing in the entrance), laying on the bones next to the clothes.


3. Follow the left way, in the cave (left side when you're standing in the entrance). It will be laying close to the clothes, laying in the bones.


4. When you're entering the cave, walk straight forward. As soon as you went past the entrance towards the middle of the cave, turn right, and you'll find it laying on the ground. You can also take the right path, turn left as soon as you can, and you should see it laying on the ground.


5. After you've entered the cave, walk straight forward, get pass the „entrance“ to the middle of the cave, and you'll notice it laying directly in front of you.


6. Enter the cave, walk straight forwards, turn left then. It will lay on your left side on the ground.

1. Between the beds, on your right side in the coast guard's office.


2. Close to the wall, on your right side, after entering the coast guard office. It will be laying on the left side from the desk, on the ground.


3. In front of the left bed.


4. In front of the table, on your right side, close to the entrance door.


5. Next to the left bed, in front of the left cabinet.

1. In front of the 2nd desk, on the left side, laying on the ground.


2. After you've entered the coast guard office, turn right. You'll find it laying behind the desk, below the screen.


3. In front of the bed, on the right side.


4. Between the cabinets, slightly under the carpets, on your right side after entering.


5. In front of the first table, on your left side.

1. Head towards the playground. You'll notice it laying close to the round climbing frame. It's laying on the earth around the playground, not on the stone surface.



2. If you're coming from the truck, it's in the corner from the playground, close to the bushes on the right side.



3. Coming from the truck, it's below the 2nd pillar, right side of the barn. (Counting coming from the street)



4. If you place yourself in front of the barn, turn right and walk towards the pillars. It's laying behind the 4th pillar, when you're counting coming from the street.

1. If you're coming from the truck, heading towards the playground, you'll notice two trees close to the parking lot. It lays below the 2nd one, the taller one on the left.



The other locations are on the right side of the barn, look closely around the pillars!

2. Coming from the truck, position yourself in front of the barn. On your right side, you'll notice some „Pillars“, next to the playground. It will be below the 5th pillar, laying on the ground. (Counting coming from the street/2nd last pillar).



3. Place yourself in front of the barn. Turn right, go towards the pillars. It will be below the 3rd pillar, if you're counting coming from the street.



4. If you're coming from the truck, move towards the barn. Turn right and walk towards the pillars. It will be laying on the right side of the barn, between the pillars and the barn door.



5. Move towards the right side of the barn. You'll find the note, laying below the 4th pillar, counting coming from the street.
