@TheCombatFox, most if not all the gear seen in Counter-Strike: Source is based off of gear which was used around 2004, despite most of it being seemingly 90s or 80s based. The SAS do indeed wear an S10 NBC Respirator, but they actually wear a Mark 6 Helmet, alongside a custom assault vest which most closely resembles the ones used during Operation Nimrod, the Iranian Embassy Siege operation which won the SAS their prestige as a global counter terrorism unit.
