I found the other guide posted here very helpful but it needed a bit of trial and error. Here's how I did it myself. I've tried it several times and it worked every single time.

You can do it in Chapter XI: Sorrow, after the minefield. You just need to throw a cigarette behind the officer standing in front of the first door.
