High Stat Training
By Anma
This is guide is meant to be used as a reference for training your digimon, this is not a step by step guide. The stat ranges I wrote down are not exact and you can move on to the next target digimon once the stat gains stop being significant.

Train at the Training Hall until you reach the Rookie stage.

Rookie
Once you reach the Rookie stage you can head out and start fighting digimon depending on your stat range.

Goblimon & Numemon / Nigh Plains - Old Cableway / <500

Garurumon (Black) / Server Desert - Hallowed Hall / 500-700

Psychemon / Server Desert - StepStep & Tower Road / 700-1000

Garurumon (Black) / Server Desert - StepStep / 1000-2200

Seadramon* / MOD Cape - MOD Ship 3.0 / 2200-3000

Once you reach you stat goal in MOD Cape, enough time should have passed for your digimon to digivolve to the next stage or be close to digivolving. If you're still at the Rookie stage you can still tackle the next target, but you'll want to be careful.

*If you're having trouble with the Seadramon, you can fight the Saberdramon that spawn in MOD Cape - Inlet Cape until you can handle the Seadramon.

Champion
WarGrowlmon (Orange) / Faulty-Ex Machina - Control Island / 3000-4500

WereGarurumon (Black) / Bony Resort - Night Church / 4500-5500

Wizardmon & Sorcerimon / Infinite Cauldron - Layer 01 / 5500-6500

PlatinumNumemon / Infinite Cauldron - Layer 06 / 6500-7500

MetalSeadramon / Absolute Zero - Concealed Gorge* / 7500-9000

After you stop getting stats from MetalSeadramon you can max out your stats by eating food from the restaurant or fighting bosses in the Dimensional District.

*This area is only accessible after beating the main story.

This is doable at any difficulty; however if you play on hard mode, then the enemies have higher stats and the fight's will be more challenging. Try using stat boosting moves like Muscle Charge or Upgrade to make fights easier and faster if you're on normal or easy. Alternatively you could change the difficulty to beginner which will lower the enemy's stats but won't decrease your stat gains.

Is this for difficulties below normal? Because I'm finding that even with mid range stats I'm getting my ass stomped by literally everything.

I'm referring to stat ranges in each individual stat.

Once you reach ultimate your digimon won't gain as many stats, same with mega. You can try grind off the digimon in their stat range or wait for them to die and then train them from the beginning.
