How to fix and mod the P.C. version "Manhunt"
This is a guide, on how to fix and mod the P.C. version of "Manhunt".

Manhunt Fixer App:

https://github.com/ermaccer/Manhunt.Fixer/releases

Its the ManhuntFixer.zip 262kb May 10, 2022

[There is one box to the top right, which I think has something to do with discord. It's a social app, for video games. I think it's the second box under the first box "PluginMH". Both boxes are under the title "Mods".]

If you want you can check all the boxes at the top of the "Manhunt" fixer app menu to fix everything wrong with the PC version of the video game "Manhunt". It will also put into your "Manhunt" game directory, files that are needed to mod "Manhunt". Which is the two boxes to the top right of the fixer app menu. I suggest pushing the autolocate steam version button, to find the "Manhunt" game files and patch the game faster. I think its usually this file path the installed game files are, If someone didn't change their default game file install location. On their P.C. for "Manhunt".

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Manhunt

https://www.nexusmods.com/manhunt/mods/11
(Its says:

Michael Myers Skin for Cash in Manhunt 1

Copy and paste the file "cash_pc.txd" of this mod into this path) the file path below.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Manhunt\levels\GLOBAL\CHARPAK

Directions are at the bottom of the Nexusmods website page from the link I put.

I think this is the default file path for almost every P.C. game on steam

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common

For non Steam games I think this is the default file path for almost every P.C. game

C:\Program Files (x86)

I think program files are usually in File Explorer on "Microsoft Windows". It can be found in the file called windows system files. It can also be found from the windows search app by typing in File Explorer in the search bar from the windows search app. The windows search app looks like a search bar with a magnifying glass at the bottom left of the windows desktop. I think windows search helps find almost every file on a P.C. that uses "Microsoft Windows".

There is also a useful guide by ermaccer, which helped me fix "Manhunt" in this link:

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2166039806

There's a picture of the "Manhunt" Fixer app menu in the guide.

[Developer menu for weapon spawning and cheats can be brought up by pressing F2. There is a configuration file, in the main "Manhunt" installation file location/directory. It's called PluginMH and the file type is a configuration file. If you double click the file, maybe the notepad app or another app will open the file for you. If the file opens you can see the different control settings, at the bottom of the menu. The entities menu also spawns in weapons from the menu that is brought up by pressing F2.]

[Developer Menu for cheats and weapons might not work with the blood moon Mod. Which can be activated by pressing F2, with "PluginMH" installed from the "Manhunt Fixer" app.]

[If you put the "Michael Myers" skin before the "Blood Moon" mod, the "Michael Myers skin" might have to be repasted to the Global Charpak file.] To This file:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Manhunt\levels\GLOBAL\CHARPAK

[I suggest copying than pasting, the blood moon mod first into the "Manhunt installation/directory folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Manhunt

Than copying than pasting the "Micheal Myers" skin mod second into:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Manhunt\levels\GLOBAL\CHARPAK]

To get blood moon running copy all files except the patch 2.1 file and paste the copied file into the "Manhunt game file directory. Than run the patch 2.1. Then the mod should work. If you already copied the Michael Myers file to the global charpak file, you would have to copy it again to the global charpak file again. If your controller doesn't move the character I suggest using xpadder. I mapped the sticks only and the character moves with my controller sticks. The rest of the buttons work normally, I didn't have to map does buttons. I tried to patch the game with Manhunt fixer to fix the controller problem I had and the game wouldn't start. So i uninstalled. than installed the game again and remodded the game. I used xpadder, now everything works and I can play the game with my controller. I haven't tried the mod Bloodmoon 2.0.6 yet.

There was a time when my copy of the game didn't work because of me modding it. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, the game still didn't work. The old Manhunt game files were still were I installed them. So I deleted them, uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I modded the game again and it worked correctly with the mods and xpadder. The game files were still here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Manhunt
