My Fix for Assassin's Creed II's Stutter & Low FPS problems
By CapedCrusader '39
So I see a lot of guides saying limiting FPS to 50 FPS, or downloading tools, or lowering your CPU Core usage, and none of them seem to work, None of them worked for me at all. So I tried something i did for Jedi Fallen Order and it seemed to fix all my issues with Assassin's Creed II and now I have a Solid 60 FPS. Using this fix worked for me and it's really Simple I'm not sure it'll work for everyone though.

How to Stop the Stuttering and Low FPS for Assassin's Creed II
I went into Steam's Launch Options for AC2 and set it to: -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -high

now I get a solid constant 60 FPS in game so maybe you guys can give it a try and see if it works for you guys too.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Go to Assassin's Creed II
2. Right Click Assassin's Creed II
3. Go to Properties
4. Go to General
5. Go down to LAUNCH OPTIONS
6. Type in or copy: -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -high
7. Done

Assassin's Creed 2 Should be running at a solid 60 FPS now if it works for you, it worked for me when no other fix for the game would work, and my PC should be able to run this game effortlessly but the optimization sucks.

My System Specs:

GPU: Radeon 6950XT
CPU: Ryzen 7 3700X
RAM: 32GB RAM

That seems pretty odd, considering that Jedi: Fallen Order is neither made with Anvil nor is it from Ubisoft... So why would you even think of doing that?

Also make sure to disable hyperthreading/SMT as the game tends to have issues with that.

guys, who can buy Assassin Creed 2, I really want to play, since I was 7 years old, I’m 14, I don’t have it in stock, I’ll be very glad who gives it to me :(

For those who have a Nvidia card such as myself. Use the Nvidia Control panel, go 3d programs, select global programs, click the bar that said add program and select the assassin's creed two exe and then set FPS to 60 as usual but turn on triple buffering and adaptive refresh rate. The worked wonders for me and im pretty sure you can do this with the AMD Adrenalin program.
