Introduction

This guide will cover the achievements for the game.
It will contain spoilers, so I suggest you finish the game once to enjoy it fully, before reading the guide.

The game consists of several parts.
After finishing the game you can get back to these from main menu, so you don't have to worry about the achievements on your first run.

How do you win?

Play a game.

Unmissable. Just play through the first part of the game naturally.

Impute

People DO judge a book by its cover.

Unmissable.
Unlocks at the third part of the game when reboot happens, OS loads and you click 'calibrate'

Online Chatter

Talk with a fellow human.

In the second part of the game, when playing pinball game with "online opponents", there's a barely visible chat interafce at the bottom of the screen. Just type a message here. Press Enter, type anything, press Enter.

Survive

Played a game.

Unmissable. Just play through the entire game and finish it. Think of this as an ending achievement.

ANAMNESIS

Read every wax document.

Easiest to do after finishing the game. Boot OS from the main screen. From there, open Wax app and read every note here.

War Lord

Undefeated for 3 battles.

Win War Game 3 times. Don't worry if you didn't do this on your first run, you can finish that achievement after finishing the game.
SPOILER Basically a game of rock-paper-scissors.
Seems that opponent only uses one figure in match, so throw whatever in your first move, see what opponent uses for the game and then counter it. Repeat for 3 games.

Example:
On your first move opponent throws rock (power). You need to repeatedly throw paper (chaos) to win.

Mainstream Media

Seen all the news.

Easiest to do after finishing the game. Boot OS from the main screen. From there, open MalNews app and read every note here.

Time To Go Home

Survive in the real world for 5 minutes.

In the third part of the game, the shooter survive for 5 minutes.
It's relatively easy, just keep circling around the map so the client wave won't surround you.
Jump over the desks to slow down the clients.

If you also get 400 kills, you get Customer Service achievement. See the Customer Service section for more hints on serving.

Easiest to do after finishing the game.
Hint: It's related to the MalNews article "Here's how you can play FLIP FLOP NOW!"

Instructions hint: Boot OS from the main screen. From there, open MalNews app and find the article "Here's how you can play FLIP FLOP NOW!"
Follow the article instructions to install the Flip Flop game.

0. Boot OS from the main screen.

1. ENABLE advanced mode first, the console won't open without it.
Instructions: Top left corner of the screen > power icon > settings > Advanced Mode > toggle on.
After that just close the settings and press tilde~ key (the key that's under ESC key and over TAB key and left to 1 key on your keyboard)

1.1 IF YOU DON'T HAVE TILDE KEY due to layout/keyboard build: you can use virtual Windows keyboard, it works. Just open it, go through characters section ("&123") and find ~ key and press it.

2. Press tilde to open the console (~ key, should be right below the Esc key)

3. Type in the commands. A list of commands if you have trouble typing (ID might possibly be different):

Customer Service

Serve 400 clients in one shift.

Get 400 kills in the shooting game without dying.

Some SPOILER hits if you're struggling:

Circle around the edges of the entire area so the clients follow you and are orginized into a huge client mass;
Look at the clients, move backwards;
I find it easier to NOT use RMB to aim.
Just shoot in the mass. Then reload. Always move.
While aiming at the head is more effective, it takes time/efforts and makes you an easier target. It might be easier to aim at the single point/body so one/two clients are served per one load;
You can sprint while reloading. You can shoot all the ammo, then rotate, reload and sptint away to make distance;
Small clients seem to be easier to serve than the large; Aim at them;
Clients can sprint too. Don't choose only narrow paths, jump over the desks to slow down the clients;
Sometimes clients will spawn right behind you, stopping your movement and blocking you. React quickly, jump your way away from them, sprint, make some distance, continue shooting serving.

Self-Made

Successfully predict life without help.

In the beginning of Game of Life where you have to type in answers manually (3x3 grid), enter all the answers correctly.

This has to be done in the initial phase when you enter answers manually, as after that you "get some help" and get choices instead of manually typing.
All 4 or 5 correct answers in a row are required. Then you get an achievement and the grid becomes larger.

Messed up? Answered wrong and the game says "it's a little too hard for you" before introducing the choices and enlarging the grid?
Alt+F4. Game uses autosaves, so next time you open the game and click 'continue', you will load up at the beginning of the sequence with 3x3 square.

After manual answers phase when you got the achievement you can just play the game as you please.

Game of life rules:

This is How You Know What Will Happen Next

1. Any live cell with fewer than two live neighbours dies (underpopulation)
2. Any live cell with more than three live neighbours dies (overpopulation)
3. Any live cell with two or three live neighbours lives to the next generation
4. Any dead cell with exactly three live neighbours comes to live
5. Ponder on the obvious allegory to real life. If you havn't gotten it by now, start paying attention.
6. Don't close this window without memorizing the rules, you won't be able to see it again.

To The Moon

Reached heights out of this world.

After getting imaprogrammer2 achievement, get 450+m in Flip Flop. Play until background changes to dark space. This happens around 450-500 meters, I've got the achievement at around 450.

Not much advice for this one:

Move the game window to the right/left so when your mouse cursor is at the bottom you don't get 'open programs' window overlapping with the game;
Changing the Flip Flop game window to fullscreen doesn't help, as hitboxes become messed up and you can't click properly;
Don't miss, and maybe spam clicks just to make sure you get in;

What I can think of in this situation

A) On Windows system you can use a virtual keyboard. I've just checked, using windows virtual keyboard works.
See if there is a ~ key on your virtual keyboard (it can be in characters section). Boot OS, then alt-tab and open your virtual keyboard. Get back into the game, find ~ on your virtual keyboard and press it (after you've enabled advanced mode)

If there are no ~ key on your keyboard you can probably add a new language and/or keyboard layout that supports this key. I have en/USA language set and it suports this key (under "&123" then ">" to see more characters)

If you want I could add you on steam so we could message it over in a chat.

B) Maybe try some remapping tools to bind ~ key to some other key or a mouse button (if supported)

C) Create a thread in the game community hub describing this, asking a game developer to take a look and maybe fix this

I think it's worth to create a thread anyway, maybe the dev will look into it

I have an italian keyboard so I don't have the same layout, for the tilde I have to press alt 1,2,6 on the right numbers

It's the ` or ~ key right below the Esc key
Left to numerical 1 key (tilde 1 2 3 ...)
Right above the tab key

key rows scheme:

Esc F1 F2 F3
Tilde 1 2 3 4
Tab Q W E

Unless you have a differently built keyboard it should be this key

It was already enabled, I guess that I'm not gonna do the 100% on this one, unless, do you know the name of the other key to open the console? it was like"?/~". btw I had to copy the ~ symbol here on steam because for some reason it doesn't write here but anywhere else yes.

Updated the guide a bit.
Enable advanced mode, just go to top left power icon > settings > advanced mode > turn on . After that the console should open without issues.

it doesn't open, I tried typing it in the wax notes, and it wrote it, but it doesn't open the console
