Click on the steam shortcut and in the properties add at the end: -vgui

You should get something like this:

"C:\<path_to_steam>\steam.exe" -vgui

This gets you back to the old UI for now.

As of the latest uPdAtE, this fix seems to no longer be working. Is there another workaround since the mutts won't let you opt out?

the new one is so good, achievements are fun now and it looks very nice. The old UI is the best but we have to move on and really if you think about it, this fixed lots of bugs and made steam quicker.

well the old one had bugs for me like if i pressed the community tab it would turn black and brack steam

Shit works. Tho you need a shortcut on your pc that leads to "steam.exe" and for it to show any effect, close steam via taskmanager and open via the edited shortcut. :shcscribe:
