Straw as scaffolding

"An example of how I use straw for scaffolding while building. Not the best picture of it but the view's amazing!

It's a great way to use all that excess straw while building a larger build. You can sort of start organically from whatever part of the scaffolding you want as you're laying down bricks. If you've already got the materials and know what you want to build, then you might not care to do this. But if you've got an idea about what you want to build but are still working on collecting the materials, this is a great way to access the edges of your build and can serve as guides when placing blocks.

For instance, I'll count out the number of blocks I need per floor and then just create a column of straw with markers (a straw block to the side of the column) at points where the floor will be. I can then use the column as the starting point for each floor and build inward (since you need a block to add one adjacent anyway)."
