Levi's Background Picks

Levi's background's pretty simple.
The first choice is about whether you want to have 125 health points or a single point of favour in a god.
The second choice is about whether you'd like a pistol/rifle/shotgun.
The third's asks whether or not you'd like a heroin addiction in exchange for a gun-specific skill.
Lastly you get asked if you want bullets, meds, or food.

Naturally you should just skip his backstory if you're not that interested in having a heroin addiction.
It starts you off with the pistol, the gunslinger skill and a few bullets.

Levi's just not that great, since you can just delimb enemies with the rifle instead of taking the gunslinger skill, but to each their own.

Nah nah, dont skip. Instead, take the backstory and pick
1. 'Stand up to your father' which gives you 125 hp.
2. Trench gun (the shotgun, its called a trench gun) (this can kill enemies on the map with just two bullets, dont use it in battle though. I recommend using it on hard enemies i.e. the priests, Abella's moonscorched from, those dudes with the bells that can blind you in battle)
3. 'Abandon the sinking ship' which means you get no skill or heroin debuff
4. Pick either ammo or health items (I recommend ammo).

You get to start with extra hp and a trench gun (with some extra ammo if you took it) which can kill an enemy in two hits when used outside of battle. Using this on significant enemies that are hard to fight should help you out a bit, especially since no other character can get a trench gun until you reach the pub area. There's definitely better character starts, but this aint too shabby.
