Danforth Collegiate and Technical Institute is a high school located in Toronto Ontario, Canada. The school opened in 1922 as Riverdale Branch Technical School and was designed by C.E. Cyril Dyson. The school has been expanded multiple times with a new expansion occurring nearly each decade. The most recent expansion opened in 1968 which saw a new classroom wing and gymnasium built. Today the campus is is actually home to 2 separate high schools, those being the Danforth C&TI as well as Greenwood Secondary School which is a small high school for students who recently immigrated to Toronto. The facility also features a second basement which is closed off to students leading to rumours about what is down there including a bomb shelter, a connection to the near by subway, and a rifle range (which according to the principle does exist and is still mostly intact). The school is also used by the Cadets Corps and National Defence course who use the various rooms in the basement.

The facility includes: 55 Standard Classrooms, 8 Science Labs, Auditorium with balcony, Cafeteria with kitchen, 1 Double Gymnasium, 2 Single Gymnasiums, Swimming Pool, and Library.

Cost to build: $48,000
Upkeep: $768
Size: 12x17
Student Capacity: 2000

Love that you made this, but the top of it just looks weird to me, I'd only use if the top was a lil' taller. I grew up around these types of buildings so I find it noticeable.

@Diamondback75 Thank you. The game seems pretty inconsistent when it comes to building scale as even the vanilla assets can vary imo. The C:S wiki says a floor should be around 12' in height but in may experience that seems to short and I have started going to 13' form my most recent school assets. I do hope as an asset creator that C:S2 has a more concomitant building scale and measurements to work with.

I absolutely love the look and level of detail you put in to this and all of your projects.. They all function flawlessly too. Excellent work overall. The only problem I had was a visual and admittedly a petty one. They just seem a little under scaled (many assets by other others are over scaled) They seem just a bit small (primarily height wise) like 2 stories on these models seems closer to one story buildings close by. Nowhere near as bad as some assets I've tried (Skyscrapers with 5 floors reaching the same height as a 2 story house lol) So yours are still MUCH closer than many others. Thanks for all the time and effort you've put in. Really do admire every other aspect of your fine work.

What a great addition! Toronto has so many vintage schools in its older neighbourhoods.
