The ICM (intercity material) nicknamed Koploper is a Dutch Intercity. A special feature of the Koploper is the walk-through head.
Koploper translates literally to Head Walker or figurativly Front Runner.

IMPORTAINT: The locomotive has two custom moddels: doors open and doors closed. When spawing the koploper has no doors on the front. To fix the lack of doors enable custom moddel one.



The Koploper was introduced on the Dutch rail in 1977. The walk trough-head was developed to decrease the costs. The advantages for the Dutch railways were clear. The head would allow the conductor to move trough the entire train. So only one conductor was neccecary. Furthermore when two trains would decouple passangers could move through the train before the decoupeling. Which would increase efficiency. Finally the walk trough-head would just be a nice comfort for passengers.
The walk through head would not live up to its expectations. In 2005 the renovations of the 3 unit long Koplopers began. As part of the renovation the walk trough mecanism was removed. the remaining 4 unit trains were renovated later.
Because the modernised Koplopers already exist on the workshop I have made the original ones with the walk-trough head.
