This guide is still in progress. I'll try to update it once I know more.

Battle mode is that nice mini-game you can play when you click the B button on the right side of the screen
Useful permanent buffs
Outside of battle mode, you can get two extremely useful buffs.

1. First you have to accumulate 600 Spiral points.

Two options for that, you will have to click on the [A] button (for Achievements) :

- Obtain the daily bonus every day:

- Obtain a few achievements:

2. Then use those points to buy in the Shop

You will have to click on the [S] button (for Shop) :

- First get the Rare reroll button :

- Then get the battle design :

You then have to activate it : Click on the [D] button (for Design)
How to get stronger
There are two ways to get stronger :
- get stackable bonus when you kill the enemy spiral
- accumulate XP points to buy permanent bonus

You will get some normal bonus naturally as you play, so don't bother with those.
Rush strategy - Training
Once you start battle mode, you only have the first enemy unlocked : Training

You have to get a lot stronger here before you start challenging stronger foes.

That means doing two things:
1.Get three Regeneration points so that you can chain kill Training
2. Get a massive amount of XP (around 2500 points at least ?)

The button you have previously unlocked will come very handy for this.
Both Regen and XP are rare bonus for this enemy, so you have to have them appear.

=> Check that button
=> Spam the [Reset difficulty and awards] button

Once you get a Regeneration bonus, let the game kill Training a few times until you get those three points.
Then spam again to get an XP bonus.

/!\ IMPORTANT #1: All other rare bonus here (such as a+001 are completely useless. If you come across one, just uncheck the button, reset once, check again and start spamming again.

How to use your XP points
First you need to use XP points to accelerate your obtaining of XP points. That means getting upgrade 10 (XP awards) up to level 10.
Then you want, in that order, to level up uprades 6 (Attack obtaining), 7 (Defence obtaining) and 5 (HP obtaining)

First bonus will take some time (if XP bonus has appeared, you will need 20s for 2 points so around 20 minutes to get to 100 points). But once you buy it speed will by multiplied by 2, then by 3 on the next purchase, etc.

/!\ IMPORTANT #2: You have to optimize killing time : once you complete a difficulty (all ten boxes have turned green), the enemy's life will go up by a bit. Once you have reached enough Attack, you want to always one-shot the enemy. If you need two hits, it means required time will double which you don't want. So when that happens, uncheck the button, reset once, check again and spam until you get a new XP bonus.
Rush strategy - Kappa
Once you've killed Training 100 times, you unlock Kappa.
If you follow the strategy, you'll have killed Training a few thousands times before you attack Kappa though.

Kappa's main difference is that it hits harder. To prevent that, you have to raise your defense.
It appears on this enemy as an Uncommon bonus so you will have to uncheck the Rare button.

Stay on this enemy until you've reached 1000 defence at least.

If difficulty gets too high to kill Kappa fast (in a few hits at most), roll the awards again until you get some new Defense bonus.
Rush strategy - Alpha
Alpha is unlocked once you reach 500 kills of Kappa.
At this point you should have the required defense to be immune to Alpha's attacks.

On this enemy, you want to push your attack extremely high.
For that, you want some Attack percentage bonus (which is a rare bonus). The value is random (between +1% and +9%), so try to get high ones to grow faster.

At this point, also start to grow your stats using the XP points :
Upgrades 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 can provide a bit of help and you can easily get them to level 30.

As for previous enemies, if difficulty gets too high (meaning you spend too much time killing the enemy), start rolling again until you get a new Attack percentage bonus on the screen.

This guide is very out of date. The battle screen/menu is completely different now. If I was the creator of this guide, I would keep it up to date.

I find I get much better loot tables without the expensive rarity roll buttons. With the normal button I can quite quickly find a table with 3-5 rare or uncommon upgrades. When I use the the rarity buttons, I usually get only 1-3 rare or uncommon even when trying lots of times.

Wow I just realized the loot table doesn't reset unless you hit the "retry" icon manually ... I was wondering how I had defeated 13k training without getting a single rare or uncommon upgrade :'(

This is a little hard to "rush" with the point costs for those upgrades.

Just saying, the cost for rare reroll alone is now 2000 points. And 400 for cyan and red. So it now takes 2400 spiral points.
