Thor, God of Thunder

Thor is a slow but powerful character, wielding a mighty hammer charged with lightning. Lightning particles on the hammer indicate sweet spots. Of course, he is not the god of Hammers. By throwing away his hammer, he transforms into his lightning form, becoming faster, lighter, and gaining a new moveset. To switch between Thor's hammer and lightning forms, N-special is an easy option that either sends away or recalls mjolnir.

When in his hammer form, he can also throw away the hammer with F-special or aerial D-special.

When grounded, D-special is a simple lightning orb projectile.

Thor's U-special is his classic hammer spin, which he uses to fling himself upwards quite the distance. This move is quite slow, so you may wish to use his U-air as a surrogate recovery. U-air does not give you a set amount of upwards movement, instead calculating it based off your current momentum. So, if you use it right after jumping, you gain a massive boost, and if you use it while falling, it barely does anything.


When in his lightning form, his recovery changes to transforming into a lightning bolt to travel at high speed. When transformed into a bolt, he is invincible, but the move lacks any hitboxes to compensate. Additionally, the move does not put you into free fall and provides a speed boost, making it somewhat viable as a movement option.

Thor's lightning form F-special is a swift charge forwards. If it connects, it will stun the opponent, then unleash a massive blast of lightning. On whiff, Thor is left an immense endlag.

Thor's lightning form D-special is similar to F-special, but trades speed and distance for teleporting a short distance forward. He will then strike down with a bolt of lightning in the opposite direction he traveled, and on hit, go crazy. On whiff, Thor is hit with considerable endlag.

In his lightning form, Thor gains the ability to perform a superhero landing with D-air. D-air will cause Thor to perform a jump with set physics, before slamming down. The slam can be canceled with a jump or airdodge.
