Payday 2‘s stealth missions require a completely different set of skills to a regular heist, and correspondingly, your stealth weapons will be focused on very different stats to their loud counterparts. Plenty of weapons offer high concealment, the bread-and-butter stat to stealthing, which means the standout weapons bring some sort of additional utility. The Judge shotgun pistol[payday.fandom.com] is widely agreed to be the best stealth weapon in the game. Great stats, great performance, high concealment, unobtrusive silencer, and like any shotgun, it sends victims flying when they die, which is incredible for blasting them out of sight into somewhere they’re less likely to be seen. But there’s a single non-shotgun that can do that too:

The Gecko M2 pistol[payday.fandom.com] was handcrafted for stealth. It comes with an integrated suppressor, meaning you can use any barrel attachment, and otherwise perfectly acceptable stats all around. As the newest gun on this list, and the only one locked behind DLC, Overkill was clearly attempting to shake up the stealth meta when they released it, and for the most part they completely succeeded.

The Bernetti 9[payday.fandom.com] is the complete opposite side of history as the 2013 release game’s stealth pistol of choice. While it’s one of the lower-damage options, its max concealment of 34 is the best in the entire game. A few others can match it, specifically the Gruber Kurtz and Chimano Compact, but the Bernetti has the best stats when built exclusively for concealment, letting you equip lower-concealment options in your primary slot without sacrificing overall sneakiness. The CAR-4 rifle[payday.fandom.com], when fully kitted out for concealment, reaches the maximum of 34 for the primary slot. It’s also generally the most customizable gun in the game, capable of being modded into practically any stat focus you like. Though if you’re a fan of akimbo, consider alternately the dual Chimano Compacts, the only other primary that reaches max concealment. Both choices have their advantages, though I’m not a fan of how akimbos double-fire and prefer the CAR-4’s vastly higher stability. Always a bridesmaid, eh, Chimano?

The Compact-5 SMG[payday.fandom.com] is a full-auto alternative to the Bernetti 9 for your secondary slot. Some people prefer full-auto even in stealth, and the Compact-5 lets you do that at the cost of only 1 concealment, down to 33. Outside that it’s incredibly accurate and one of the easiest SMGs to use in the whole game. If you bring a shotgun primary for ragdolling corpses, I recommend the Raven personally.

Bonus #6 is the OVE9000 Saw[payday.fandom.com] with a Silent Motor attachment. There are a ton of noncombat situations in stealth missions where having the Saw lets you complete the heist faster, safer, or with fewer complications blocking your path to success. The main downside is the terrible concealment, but all the weapons on this list are largely concealable enough to counteract that.
