Modification list for Earth 2150, The Mood Project, and Lost Souls

I noticed that no one has a place for mods that are out for this game and its add-ons plus, with the game being limited to you versus everyone else I did what I could to track down friendly AI modifications/scripts in order to play cooperatively with the AI during skirmish. Some of these are visual and game changing modifications, which I will be posting when I find more.

While this game has been out for quite some time many of the mod links or mods in general are no longer being updated and many of the links no longer exist, I have found a few in which the download link still works. I am merely making this guide so that others who do not know where to look can easily find some mods for this game and if other users find more mods please tell me and I will gladly update the information on this guide.

SuperStorm V2 - For TMP & LS
This mod, or at least the page, has 3 languages, English, German, and Russian.

Description of the mod is on the page; basically it adds different AI scripts, friendly AI, different game modes which are not included in the core game, and different weather control options for the map.

As of writing this I have not tried this mod, again I just started looking so I do not have any opinion on this mod.

The next item is simply a forum thread which has a few mods for Earth 2160, and 2150. Many of the links however are dead; one post down however still works, however the page that it leads to is written in another language and I unfortunately can not read it. However the instructions on the forum post on this page explain which section and which link you should be looking for so that you can download the file. As far as I can tell, this is the correct download link, which still works:

The description of this mod is: “This 696kb Mod will enable you to play the 3 original Earth 2150 campaigns with the Moon Project engine.

With this benefits:

- better graphics
- you can zoom out further
- more useful hotkeys
- new technologies integrated seamlessly
- uses TMP unit balancing (ED campaign a little easier, LC campaign a little harder)
- unchanged original missions
- no .exe installer (just copy files and rename them)”

Like SuperStorm I have not tested this modification.
Operation X
Operation X have a goal to expand over what earth 2150 moon project and lost souls have. This expansion adds new towers, chassis, weapons for each faction.

This seems to be a site dedicated to the Moon project and maybe Earth 2150 I am not sure since I do not speak Russian. I will however post the site up for anyone who wishes to delve into it or perhaps some of the Russian users will find some use out of it.

I loved playing the Moon Project of Earth 2150. I got so use to using SuperStorm that I can't play the game without it. I feel it should be part of the base game for everyone to use. A real quality of life update.

I did another check and it turns out it's actually not as bad as I thought. In the first mission, the player isn't really supposed to fight the ED anyway, and in the third or so mission it can be done by using a Main Base since it's a tanky building with four weapon slots. Shortly after there are already shields to research, so laser weapons quickly lose their potency. What's funnier is if you then go into the Neo campaign, because your very first assignment (Rio de Janeiro) yields about a dozen UCS mechs with plasma cannons, which are hilariously OP.

There is something wrong with the mod that ports the EftBP missions. The ED have laser weapons from literally the first mission on, which makes the LC campaign near-unplayable. Is there a way to fix that?
