No matter what you hear, it works different for beast. As i see, crouch can trigger beast same way as running. Sounds bad.
When he is actively searching, even crouch can instantly reveal the location at a great distance. And he may not calm down for a very long time. I watched him walk around for 5+ minutes. Intelligence looks broken.
@Mogbar It'll not appear but it'll still move between holes on first playthrough.
It's always amusing when systems are used like that, in a slightly unintended way. If it works, and doesn't require an extra day of coding for our gameplay programmer, then yes, we'll just play unaudible noises to summon the enemy
