It's the first time I'm going to use it, and both the main mod and this one are not updated that's why I put it in, I'll try it if it works, thank you

did you confirm it does not work or you just saw it's 'technically not updated' and came to request something that might not be needed at all?

Each non-legendary character (lord/hero) has 2-5 variants in vanilla.
Variant selector allows people to choose between those variants. Check out the video in the Variant Selector page.

By default, modded generic characters are not supported. Modders can choose to add support (it's easy) but Mixu didn't. This mod adds variant selector support to the listed mods, so you can choose between the variants.

What exactly does the mod do?

Added options to Mixu's Egil, so you can choose to make him look like a regular lord of khorne or even an exalted hero, because why not.

that sounds like you are not having variant selector main mod?

I'm not getting variants at all, for anyone. Just shows an empty box on generic Heroes and Lords. Nothing happening on anyone, not sure why. There's no variants appearing.
