Connect to a socket in the central pillar, the adjunct display tells you which Lift the socket faces and operates.

this part of the game is very frustrating.... i thank you for the short version but which is Lift 1 etc... argh.

Short version:

Connect to Lift 1, Lower 1x, step onto it, Lower 3x
Connect to Lift 4, Raise 2x, step onto it, Lower 4x
Connect to Rotate socket, Rotate 2x either way
Connect to Lift 4, Raise 4x, step onto Lift 3
Connect to Lift 2, Lower 5x, step onto it
Connect to Lift 3, Lower 4x, step onto it, Raise 3x
