There are a total of 8 mastery Badges in throughout the game. You only need 5 for the achievement so I recommend spending time with characters you like then going for the two character specific badges. You need a lot of Lua to purchase 3 of the badges so taking the place of people in the death gamble for the bonus Lua is VITAL to getting enough money. The Badges also give you Bonus Mastery points for leveling. I have listed them all here with as minimal spoilers as possible.

In the prologue you will arrive at the Lion casino. Before you play poker you need to double your starting 1000 Lua to 2000 and purchase the badge. You can play slots, roulette, or blackjack. I wouldn't recommend slots as it would take a long time. Try your luck at Blackjack with "doubles" and roulette and bet the max 100. I bet 100 on green zero and won (results may vary).

This badges requirements span multiple days. If you miss the bird on any of the days you will not get the badge.

• On day 2 you will stop by the purser. Buy the bird food.
  
• On day 2 during the moment of clam in the evening feed the bird near the back of deck 1.
  
• During the moment of calm morning on day 3 the bird can be found on deck 3.
  
• During the moment of calm morning on day 4 on deck 1 near the front of the ship.
  
• During the moment of calm morning on day 5 at deck level 1 at the back of the ship.
  
• During the moment of calm morning on day 6 at deck level 4.
  
• On day 7 as soon as you gain control go near the back of deck 1 to get the Badge.

On Day 2 you will be at the Fun fair. Before going to the Fortune teller there are two options for obtaining the Badge from Quentyn. You can buy it outright for a whopping 1 million Lua, or collect seven tokens to trade for it. Talk to Quentyn after getting all 7 tokens to agree to the trade.

1. Token of Patience - Ride the ferris wheel for 100 Lua.
2. Token of Inspiration - Score at least 3 at Horseshoes (Try to aim at 175 degee angle)
3. Token of Accuracy - Score at least a 50 at the shooting gallery. (Don't shoot the red targets)
4. Token of Might - Score at least 3 at the High striker game.
5. Token of Perception - Score at least a 3 at the Shell Game.
6. Token of Swiftness - Help the Carnival Worker spin the Carousel.

7. Token of Communication - This one requires a mini quest of its own.

• Talk to Simon after spinning the Carousel and he will ask you to make his bottle not empty.
  
  
• Talk to Edgar at the Lemonade Stand and he will give you a slice of cheese.
  
• Talk to a Merchant at a stand and exchange the cheese for a mouse.
  
• Talk to the Merchant with the cat to exchange the mouse for Magic beans.
  
• Talk to the Merchant with potted plants to exchange the magic beans for flowers.
  
• Talk to the Young man nearby sitting on a bench to exchange the flowers for a Rusty coin.
  
• Throw the Rusty coin in the fountain to obtain a Bottle Cap.
  
• Talk to Edgar to exchange the Bottle Cap for Lemonade.
  
• Talk to Simon and exchange the Lemonade for the token (Finally).

Simply purchase from the Purser for 10,000 Lua. You can buy it during moments of calm. Last chance to buy it on day 6.

Simply buy one of each food from the cafe. The total cost will be 2,100 Lua. You can acess the cafe during moments of calm. The last chance to buy them is on day 6.

Simply buy one of each type of drink from the bar. The total cost will be 8,350 Lua. You can access the bar during moments of calm. The last chance to buy them is on day 6.

In order to get this badge you need to do Raymond's first trust event and obtain the 3 brochures he wants you to hand out.

The easy way to get rid of them is to sell them to the purser. But you can hand them out by doing other peoples trust events.
After you have removed them all from your inventory you can preform Raymond's second trust event and he will reward you with the crown badge.










Spoiler note - Raymond can die on day 3 if you take the place of the team in the death gamble. If you do his trust event on day 2 evening to get the brochures, then on day 3 sell them and do his second event you can get it done before he potentially dies

To obtain the Muscle Badge you must do all 3 of Joseph's Trust events during moments of calm and succeed in the repeatable mini games. You will also get the Working Out Achievement!
