"This is Armenia's view of the world, up to it's Military Superiority Victory (turn 91) in Mr Goblin's multiplayer game:

There are some minor caveats with the timelapse: some tiles that are initially unowned show up with their current owners (instead of being white). Also, parts of the map that Armenia currently does not have vision of (like the southeast and west) will not have their history shown."

It would take a decent amount of work to get this into the game, even if it does seem rather simple.

Have to suggest to Pavel he consider implementing a way for the player to save this to an mpeg perhaps? Most would not be so dedicated and yet it's a pretty nice thing to upload for others to see.

I don't think there's a built-in method. I did this manually: taking 92 screenshots and importing them into GIMP, optimizing for GIF (5 mb upload size limit), and tweaking the timing a bit (so the last frame lingers for a bit).

How do you save the replay so you can post it? Is it a GIF?
