1. Introduction
ConnecTank achievements are not difficult, their names and descriptions are generally self-explanatory, but there are hidden "triggering" conditions for a few of them. Some conditions have been disclosed by the community, I discovered a few ones by myself, and some have been revealed by the devs themselves. To help anyone having a hard time completing this game, I finally decided to combine all the info in this guide: it lists all the achievements complete with their unlocking requirements, plus some tips and tricks to make things a little easier.
2. Info and requirements
The achievement list is organized as follows:
  • Campaign achievements can be unlocked by completing the campaigns of the three main character (Finneas Fat Cat, Lord Longneck, Emperor Penguin), that is by playing their "company priority" missions;
  • Level achievements can be unlocked by completing levels that have special modifiers applied;
  • Tank achievements can be unlocked by completely building a few specific tanks;
  • Mission achievements can be unlocked by completing specific missions assigned by certain characters;
  • Miscellaneous achievements can be unlocked by fulfilling other conditions (mainly unlocking tanks and items).
You'll probably get most part of the achievements just by playing the three campaigns of the game. Unfortunately, Tank and Miscellaneous achievements require some grinding, also the Mission achievements have very specific requirements to fulfill.

8. Tips and tricks
Here's a list of tips and tricks:
  • The Pirate Hat and Fiery Collector M.O.D.s. grant you an additional tank part after defeating enemy tanks. Even though I suggest funding them as soon as they appear in the GoTankMe hub so that they can drop during missions, be wise and think twice before equipping them because they also have negative effects to deal with. The Mic Dropper tank has the Pirate Hat equipped by default but its max HPs is low, so you can quickly lose if an enemy exploits your tank weaknesses: again, wisdom is the key.

  • There's a little group of tanks that requires completing their dedicated mission first, before starting to show up randomly. These missions are usually assigned by a secondary character of the game, here are some:
    • the Recovering The Satellites mission from Finneas Fat Cat unlocks the Neil Strongarm tank;
    • the Ghost Hunters mission from Himmelbraun the Physicist unlocks the Panzergeist tank;
    • the El Desperado mission from Log Dog unlocks the El Desperado tank;
    • the Creepy Clowns Harsh The Vibe mission from Hootie and the Blowfish unlocks the Giggles tank.
    Even after completing their missions, the chances of finding such tanks are pretty small, so I strongly suggest prioritizing (that is, fighting) them whenever you find one. Anyway, you can always fund Bonnie Rae Quinn and BRQ-1 in the GoTankMe hub after each mission, to get a new tank part (retrieved parts will also be for tanks yet to encounter, by the way).

  • Sometimes the desired mission doesn't appear in the list of the available gigs, despite its requirements being fulfilled. In such cases, just close the game and start it again to "shuffle" the list of gigs. It usually works (based on my experience), but if the mission selection doesn't change at all... complete one of the available missions (preferably without breaking the requirements) then try again.

  • When you bump into character shops during missions, take a look at the M.O.D.s. on sale (if they have any): the Piggy Bank M.O.D. grants you 100 coins and it's basically free money (it costs less than that); the same goes for the Overtime Payment M.O.D. which grants you 250 coins, but take the 50-damage side effect into account.
Now, one last tip about game progression and how to handle it better. The three campaigns of the game are not three separate things, they always unfold together through both the missions and the market share system. Since each mission tends to support only one faction at the expense of the others, it's pretty much impossible to complete all the campaigns simultaneously, quite the opposite you'll end up with the same old missions in the list of available gigs, over and over again. I find it smarter to choose one faction and "stick" with it till the end of the related campaign, by avoiding missions that decrease its market share too much. While doing so, it's also a good thing to prioritize missions assigned by the supporting characters of the current faction (ex. Syd The Skulpter for Lord Longneck), and reserve missions assigned by the opposing characters (ex. Danny and Dana Donovan for Lord Longneck) for later. This way you can use the former to progress through each campaign and the latter to lower the market share when you're done with it, also making missions rotate more often.

@Stix75: Hi, thanks for the suggestion, it might be a valid one. I actually played the whole game on hard difficulty, without unlocking the last tank. I played it in co-op, I don't know if playing it in single-player could change anything.
Stix75 27 Feb @ 6:53pm
A wild thought: could this last tank be related to difficulty? Like having to complete an 8 star mission on high difficulty, or maybe even complete all 3 campaigns that way?
Shdwwrym 19 Jun, 2023 @ 11:45am
Unfortunately I can also confirm that maxing out the ammo and mods on my end didn't change anything either, and I am still getting overheats on attempts to find parts for the last tank. I also used the Sharky and two Yog tanks in stages in case that might be related, since their art styles are closer to each other than the more animal-like designs.
Black Heretic  [author] 19 Jun, 2023 @ 8:35am
I got all achievements, 100% ammo, 100% M.O.D.s, all buildings, I even completed all missions (they're about 145, I tracked them while playing and I'm 99% sure that no one is left), but the last "secret" tank is still locked. At the moment I have no ideas, but I will add the relevant info to the guide in case I find out how to unlock it.
Shdwwrym 15 Jun, 2023 @ 7:42pm
I have mods maxed out in the GoTankMe section, about 84% on the ammo types, so I will report back whether or not that accomplishes anything once I get there. Slightly relieved to hear it isn't just me that is missing it!
Black Heretic  [author] 15 Jun, 2023 @ 5:19pm
@Shdwwrym I'm missing just that tank too, to be honest, and I'm still trying to figure out how to unlock it. Its trigger is not "all achievements unlocked" as you unlocked them all already, and it's not "all buildings built" as I have all of them (all in "built" state). I'm far from completing the GoTankMe hub, so I cannot tell you anything about it for the moment. I'm not even 100% sure we can actually unlock it (I spent some time investigating), perhaps the devs are the only ones who can solve the puzzle.
Shdwwrym 14 Jun, 2023 @ 9:14pm
This seems like a nice guide! It helped me identify the only tank I am missing, Gate, though I was hoping it was like the other four that needed specific missions to unlock. I have all the achievements and nearly the entire GoTankMe shop finished, but BRQ-1 is just not bringing me its parts. Any advice for where it may show up?
