The language is not managed in the game Options menu. To change the language of the game interface, do the following:

1. Go to \Steam\steamapps\common\Alea Jacta Est\AJE\Settings\
2. Open the file named General.opt with a text editor like Windows Notepad
3. Locate the following string: Language = 0
4. Edit the number as required: 0: English; 1: Français; 2: Español; 3: Deutsche
5. Save the file

The display settings are not managed in the game Options menu but in a external utility provided with the main program.

1. Go to \Steam\steamapps\common\Alea Jacta Est\
2. Start AGESettings.exe
3. Click on the Display tab



4. Adjust the settings
5. Click on Change
6. Close the program
