First of all , you probably don't know where you are , so you should start making weapons first to make sure you can defend yourself
Currently the weapons in game are only spear , bow , and bolas and shield for defending
The spear , costs 5 wood and 2 stone , which we can use to kill any gall. ( the red neutral dino) or styg. ( the black a**hole headbutter) they both die to a 1 hit from the spear , u can just go prone (2x CTRL) and stick to him , then press CTRL and spear him fast or , just kil him from 1 bow hit (bow costs 5 wood 2 stone too) , bow cannot affect other dinos , such as stryc. , ankyl. , or carno. , but u can use a bow to make him chase you ( can be useful if u want 2 dinos to fight , just make one chase you to the other dino) , the bow carries only 10 ammo that can be replenished by crafting arrows out of 2 wood.
The shield , costs 4 wood and 2 stone , can be used to kill styg , if u hold left click , he will headbutt the shield and die (not that the shield will get broken and disappear).
Bolas: they can be made out of 2 stones and 1 wood , and they can be usd to disable other players and pull them , it has only 3 charges that can be replenished by 2 wood and crafting Rope , and they can't be used on any dino.
Torch: not a weapon , its just used to light in night (not recommended as dinos and players will see you easier and you'll get urself in trouble. can be used to explore caves as caves are totally black if you don't have a torch , you are lost inside the cave forever. :D

so now i got my own weapons , and im safe , i dunno where iam , so i recommend that you use my own strategy , which is i run with the sea to my right , and i keep running , if i reach a cave directly on the beach , i go back , because that's the howl cave , and we need to go to waterfall cave (easiest way to get herbs and exp , cuz its a very tiny cave , that has 2 herbs and a shrine between them , shrines give 20 exp when stepped on them , and u need herbs to tame dinosaurs and ride them ) , so when you are at waterfall cave , you now know where you are , its a cave joining 2 shores and its entrance is a narrow hole underwater

Now , you don't have to keep pulling boxes as there's a new inventory system , the inventory is a place where ur wood and stone and salvaged items from slain dinosaurs is kept , so when u kill a dinosaur you take some items from it , also from trees u get tree saps and wood. also if you want to craft something you can look at it's requirements in the recipes section.
INVENTORY IS ACCESSED BY PRESSING SPACE.

so now basically you will need to build a teepee ( a respawn location in case if you get killed ) , to build a teepee you need 10 wood and 4 stone , after you build a teepee you basically need to build a firepit to cook food , which can be crafted out of 2 wood and 2 stone.
Totem : you can craft a totem (8 wood 4 stone) to make a tribe , this will allow you and your friends to see each others' name , and revive each other if you have herbs.
Cage: can be used to capture players or keep a dino inside so it doesn't attack anybody. (kinda bugged now).

Dinos [main source ,and the easiest] , if you kill a dino , you can hit him with your axe , which u can get from any small dino (galli and styg ) 2 small meat , or other dinos 3 large meat each.
Fish [Secondary source , takes time] , it needs patient , you just go in water , don't touch WASD , wait for a fish to approach you and hit it with your spear (needs so mcuh patience) be sure to go out of water for air before the blue bar is full or you're dead.

Galli : the red passive dino (not recommended to tame and waste herbs as it doesn't attack , its just used to transport players fast) 25 exp + 1 herb
Styg : The black dino that headbutts , 50 exp + 1 herb
Stryc: the one with a large horn on his nose , 100 exp + 1 herb
Ankyl, : the one with armor and tail ( he's a beast , he can kill 4 carnos ) 150 exp + 1 herb
Carno: the giant green dinosaur that has heavy footsteps and fast movement speed ( 1 hit killer) 200 exp + 1 herb
Puertasaurus:Its immortal right now , so as you cant kill it , you cant tame it.
FROM NOW ON , ANY DINO CAN BE KILLED WITH ARROWS (Not the Puertasaurus of course -_-)
so consider for example using a barrage trap on a powerful dino as it fires so much arrows very fast to kill that big dino :D

Mount the dinosaur by interacting
Press "Left-click" (if not changed from default) to move slowly forward
Tap "Left-click" frequently to gain high speed
Press "Right-click" (if not changed from default) once to stop,
When stopped, press "Right-click" to dismount.

Well , each dino got different reactions so lets explain this:
Galli: He's a red , passive dino , he runs as soon as a player approaches him , or a carno , you got nothing to be scared of him , except that he attracts carnos. Good source of meat and gives 2 small meat upon death. (takes 2 bow hits to die , or 1 spear hit to die.) Takes 25 to be tamed + 1 herb.

Styg: A Black , ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dino , he charges and headbutts you as soon as you go into his range , most common aggressive dino in the game (currently), GIves 2 small meat upon death ((takes 2 bow hits to die , or 1 spear hit to die.) Takes 50 exp to be tamed + 1 herb.

Stryc: He's an orange dino , with so much horns and one main horn on his nose , he's a strong dino , but its half-passive , it won't attack you , unless you attack it first. gives 3 large meat upon death, cant be kiled by a human , u must kill it with a dino. Can be tamed with 100 exp + 1 herb

Ankyl: The dark red dino , with thorns on his back , and a large tail that he uses to sweep enemies , deadly dino , charges you but with slow speed , has the ability to kill 4 carnos. gives 3 large meat upon death , cant be killed by a human , must be killed with a dino. Can be tamed with 150 exp + 1 herb

Carno: Green dino , Currently the most dangerous for hunters , as it got a VERY fast speed and deadly attack (1 hit kill) , Gives 3 large meat upon death , cant be killed by hunters , or stygs , must be killed with either stryc or ankyl (although stryc can hardly kill him , but yet its still possible) , 200 exp + herb to tame.

Puertasaurus: The Biggest dino in the game , Very long neck , its very slow , doesn't attack hunters , all dinosaurs are afraid of it. Currently immortal and not tameble. Can carry up to 10+ hunters.

Arrow Trap - Trip - Low cost trap that fires a single arrow in a specific direction.
Whistling Trap - Proximity - Once triggered, all undistracted dinosaurs in a quarter-mile will investigate this location.
Barrage Trap - Trip - Rapidly fires an onslaught of arrows in a broad general direction.
Smoke Trap - Proximity - Impairs vision and snares movement of the target.
Launch Trap - Proximity - Sends the target sailing into the air, prone to fall damage. (Doesn't work on dinosaurs)
