What is Trust Factor ?
  • Trust Factor is a system implemented in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) to evaluate and assess a player's trustworthiness and reliability.

  • It aims to create a fair and enjoyable matchmaking experience by considering various factors that contribute to a player's overall behavior within the game.

  • The Trust Factor system analyzes player data, including in-game actions, account age, and other undisclosed factors to determine the trustworthiness of a player.

There is 3 Types of Levels For Trust Factor:

💚 Green Trust Factor:
  • A green Trust Factor in CS:GO represents a high level of trust associated with your account, indicating that you have demonstrated positive in-game behavior, fair play, and reliability. Achieving a green Trust Factor can lead to a more enjoyable matchmaking experience, with a higher likelihood of being matched with other trustworthy and respectful players

💛 Yellow Trust Factor:
  • A yellow Trust Factor signifies a moderate level of trust associated with your CS:GO account. While it is not as high as a green Trust Factor, it still indicates that you have generally exhibited fair play and decent in-game behavior. However, there may be certain factors that have caused some concerns or inconsistencies.

💔 Red Trust Factor:
  • A red Trust Factor indicates a low level of trust associated with your CS:GO account. It suggests that you have displayed negative behavior, violated the game's rules, or received numerous reports from other players. Having a red Trust Factor can result in a challenging matchmaking experience, with a higher likelihood of encountering disruptive or untrustworthy players.

What makes Trust Factor Low?
Several factors can contribute to a player having a low Trust Factor in CS:GO.

It's essential to understand these factors to improve your trustworthiness and avoid being labeled as untrustworthy by the system.

Here are a few things that can negatively impact your Trust Factor:

1) 🔎 Reports and Commendations:
  • Consistently receiving reports from other players for disruptive behavior, cheating accusations, or abusive chat can significantly harm your Trust Factor.

  • On the other hand, receiving positive commendations for being a friendly teammate can help improve your Trust Factor.

2) 🔒 VAC Bans and Game Bans:
  • Having a history of VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat) bans or game bans from other games on your Steam account will likely lower your Trust Factor in CS:GO.

  • It indicates a prior association with cheating or other prohibited activities.

3) 📛 Kick Votes:
  • Being frequently kicked from matches by teammates or being involved in vote-kicking other players can negatively impact your Trust Factor.

  • Consistently engaging in disruptive behavior or causing frustration among teammates can lead to a decrease in trustworthiness.

How to get a Green Trust Factor?
To achieve a green rating, indicating a high level of trustworthiness, follow these:

1) 🎉 Positive In-game Behavior:
  • Maintain a positive attitude and engage in fair play while playing CS:GO.

  • Avoid toxic behavior, including abusive chat, griefing, or intentionally disrupting gameplay.

  • Encourage teamwork, communicate effectively with teammates, and contribute to a healthy and enjoyable game environment.

2) 🥇 Play with Trustworthy Players:
  • Whenever possible, queue up and play with teammates who have a good reputation and high Trust Factor.

  • By associating yourself with reliable players, you increase the likelihood of improving your own Trust Factor.

3) 👍 Validate Your Account:
  • Ensure that your Steam account is verified and authenticated. Linking your phone number to your account, enabling Steam Guard, and having an account with a reasonable playtime and purchase history can help boost your Trust Factor.

4) ❗ Avoid Suspicious Software:
  • Do not use or install any unauthorized software or cheat tools that may trigger VAC or game bans.

  • ❗ Even third-party applications that appear to be harmless can lead to unintended consequences.
    - This includes;
    Bunny Hop Sripts
    External or Internal Exploiting (Harmless/Harmful)

  • Stick to the official game client and authorized mods.

5) ❣️ Rep Other Players So they Rep You!
  • Make your teammates Commend each other ! This way it will boost your Trust Factor the best.

  • Rep Player Profiles of your teammates and ask them to Rep yours!
