Introduction
Starting from version 1.0.29, Shardpunk is able to dynamically read and import text files holding translation data, which allows for creating language mods.
In order to download mods, you need to set up the Vortex app[www.nexusmods.com] on your PC. This guide will help you get through this process.
Setting all up
First, download the Vortex application from https://www.nexusmods.com/about/vortex and install it on your PC.

Then download the Shardpunk: Verminfall extension from https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/570. You can use the “Vortex” download button to download it directly to the Vortex app:

Install the extension in Vortex:

Restart Vortex after installing (it will display a prompt):

After restart, Shardpunk should be recognized by Vortex and will appear in the “Games” section:

Click on the check icon on the right to switch the context of Vortex to Shardpunk:

You can now navigate to the “Mods” section and browse for mods from there, or go to https://www.nexusmods.com/shardpunkverminfall. When I’m writing this, there’s only one example mod that I’ve placed there:

That’s it! After you download a language mod via Vortex, it will automatically activate itself. If it’s a mod adding a new language, you will be able to change the game’s language in the settings menu. If it’s a mod that is expanding existing messages, you should see these messages in during the game.
