Some history
LuAZ 2403 is a four-wheel drive vehicle, one of the modifications of LuAZ-969M, designed for towing cargo on airfields weighing up to 3000 kg. The main units and assemblies of the car were completely borrowed from the LuAZ-969M model, except for the wheel gearboxes, which have a gear ratio of 2.0, compared to 1.3 and 1.6 in civilian versions., also called "Volinianka".
