Tanks controls in Kao
1. In your steam library choose properties in the game: "Kao the Kangaroo"





2. Next, You have to click on the "local files", then "serach"





3. Now you are opening the setting configuration "kao"

There should be usually notebook, but if it is not you just have to open the file with this program





4. Finally you need to just swapping 1 with 0 in the information line: "CameraRelativeControll"






Have fun and I hope less nerve during jumping into platforms! :)

Was just curious, I never played these before and just couldn't tell the difference. I'm sure it's there.

The difference is that new controls do not allow you to slowly go backwards (literally a whole cut movement animation) and you can't change position staying in place, if you want to get another direction, new controls always make you move forward in the process. It's a bit problematic when positioning Kao better on small platforms and if you were used to older movement. No need to be that sceptical, when you aren't even right about it.

how does the difference in movement work in game?

Well, the difference is with way how Kao moves.

This guide is for people, who prefer classic movement, because maps aren't adapted to the new one.
