#1 Go to this location on the drive you installed your game in. For me, it is on drive G:, for you, it is on Local Disk C: by default.

Location path: ...Steam\Steamapps\Common\Killingfloor2\Engine\Config

#2 Find and open a file named "BaseInput".

#3 Ctrl + F to search for "ConsoleKey=Tilde"

#4 You can now either change it to key you want to use, or delete option "Tilde" to disable it completely.

Example, if you want to bind the console to open by pressing the "M" key, just set the value to: "ConsoleKey=M"
