How to Quick-Step correctly
Put simply, all you need to do is go into Steam's Controller Layout Configuration for Colors Ultimate & set the bumpers to the A & D keys for Left & Right respectively.

Now you can move forward without having to use the joystick to quick step

The only side effects are that:
1. Retrying a level at the results screen is screwed, so add the right bumper function to a button you aren't using
2. Pressing the bumpers anywhere else will move you left & right, however, it works as a loose version quick-step when boosting, so it's not as bad as it sounds.

Unfortunately at the time of this upload I haven't been able to find a good way to implement the drift in the same capacity as it requires both boost & joystick, I'll try my best to make it work, but I don't think it's possible
How to get the Drift/Frontiers Boost
As the title says, the only way to get the Drift to work like it does in Generations is by essentially making it equivalent to the Boost in Frontiers, on the triggers.

If you press 2 buttons with the same function (AKA: A trigger & the boost button) they cancel out, so that's unfortunate, & personally I've found myself using the game's recommended button mapping anyway, so the option is here, but it's an option if you want it.

Fun fact the quickstep and drift were originally going to be on the Generations and Unleashed bindings but for whatever reason they reverted this decision
