The Belkommunmash AKSM-333 Trolleybuses were used in Riga, Latvia from 1999 to 2015 when the last one was written off. These were the first low-floor type of trolleybuses used in Riga but disappeared from Riga streets even before the old Škoda 15Tr trolleybuses. Riga was the city that made the first major order for AKSM-333 trolleybuses. Even in a relatively short lifespan in Riga, they had various different paintjobs. The very first AKSM-333 (later 27003) in Riga had very different looks from the other AKSM-333 trolleybuses. The others were the same from beginning but over time they would get different stickers, logos, bort numbers, and some changes in their styling. Riga also opearated a short version, the very first AKSM-321 ever built.
