Report a translation problem
Pits have the problem of not giving you the height advantage for your missile troops. The higher your trools shoot from compared to the target, the better. Also if you're very close to the edge of the map you can't build walls, there's a border around the edge that you have to keep clear (lets battling enemies spawn in). Armies come in from the edges of the map when raids or battles happen.
one questions though is building the center in a corner pit advisable? i dont have any hills around and the pit makes it easy to protect myself since it only has 2 openings
