Control scheme
The mouse can be very tricky to control your plane with in precise movements.
It's easier to use the cursor keys on your keyboard (or A,S,D,W).
You can set which in Options.

If you're playing with a controller, using the analog arrows helps.

Do it in one go
So there's this part in Stage III at the Aiborg Factory where you suddenly die a lot and might lose all your continues.

It can be quite frustrating, especially that this is the first time in the run that you're obligated to do these acrobatics.

What you need to do is

1. Wait for the dispenser to shoot its first load (triple kek) of rocks, which will most likely travel upwards. You need to take the downward route because it's easier to maneuver, so keep your plane back by hitting the left cursor (or A) on your keyboard.

2. Now be ready for the second bunch of rocks. These will go downwards, so situate your plane smack in the middle of them and move along with them.

3. From now on, the game will try and force your plane to move a little faster or a little slower than the rocks that you're hiding in. If that happens and you don't counter it, the lasers will eviscerate your plane.

All you need to do is carefully control your plane's movements, moving it in the exact opposite direction of the forced momentum.

So when the rocks are moving upward, you tap the down cursor key (or S) just enough to keep your plane hidden from the lasers within the rock cluster.

When they're moving right, you tap the left cursor key (or A), and so on.

There are times when you need to tap both, e.g. the down+left cursor keys (or A+S).

Using this method, it took me only two tries and I cleared that spot.

Now you can do it in one go; no sweat.

You can use SloMo too but you don't really need to.
Besides it's better to save it for the boss fight right after.

Save time
If you find that time is running out on you while you're making your way through the tunnel, sometimes it's best if you start all the way back from Stage II in order to get your weapons upgraded and clear enemies at the start of the factory stage much faster.
